I bought some clothes about a week ago: some dresses, socks, tights, some trainers, a necklace and some heart sunglasses.

Does My Wedding Stories count? I bought it from Origin? If not, probably something for my kids for Christmas 2020.

What Sims pack would you like to see released? If you no longer play the Sims, what would bring you back?

Bands and music. When I’m not playing fantasy characters, I’m playing musicians. I need to start a band.

Name a TV show you can’t stand.

Something involving an otherworldly dimension (like Realm of Magic but a whole fantasy land to live in as opposed to just shopping and studying).
Also with additional generic fantastical style clothes/ accessories/ tattoos that I could use to make up my own fantasy cultures/ people. I already use anything I want to for this but worry about being accused of cultural appropriation if ever I was to put a household or story online and accidently misuse a garment for a fantasy sim that has a significant cultural or religious meaning for other players who play more real life scenarios. I would never, ever want to offend anyone in this manner.
In which case, I feel it would help to have a bit of historic detail somewhere in the game behind the fashions for each pack, particularly ceremonial garments, just to know if it's appropriate or not to use it in a fantasy context. It would also be interesting to learn more about where these designs come from (I know that they do this for kits and some of the updates, but, particularly with packs such as City Living - which has some wonderful clothing designs- it would be useful to have some clarification as to whether some garments represent a fashion style or have a deeper spiritual and/or cultural meaning. I recognise some, such as the Hijab, but am sorry to say there are some that I don't recognise (though love the aesthetic of them) and so it would be interesting and useful to have some context. I know City Living came out ages ago so if this has already happened and I've missed it then please ignore me). Have also just realised that I've taken too long to type this and someone else has already answered. Sorry!

I'd also like to bring back more of the nonsensical humour from the early games.

    Same question.

Two, both of them being variants of HP Pavilion. My silver one is a standard laptop that has unfortunately slowed down over time from over-pushing its limits. My black and green gaming laptop performs better, but the hinge was damaged. Even though I had it repaired, it still feels pretty uncomfortable opening and closing the screen. Ever since I got my gaming desktop PC, I simply felt little need to use my laptops unless it's an emergency or if I travel somewhere.

1/10 - I can use the toaster and that's about it. I could probably figure out how to use the oven I just choose not to ;)

4/10, that may be a bit generous but I've made several different foods throughout the years. No one's died, got sick, and I haven't burnt the house down. My food is good most of the time. I have made a few mistakes. I'm terrible at baking bread.

I was making microwave brownies and I put the glass container (it's supposed to be microwaveable) into the microwave to melt the butter and chocolate like I always did. And I don't know what happened but there was like a spark coming from the container and I took it out and one side of it started to "melt"? Or looks like, you know, like when they make glass and it just looks like a bubble but it's not really a bubble?

Anyways... The bubble thing and the spark inside it started to spread even more. I panicked and so I threw tap water at it and the whole thing exploded. 😂 Thank God none of it went into my eye or anything (also good thing I got these big glasses that could double up as goggles. LOL.)

So I spent the whole day picking up all the tiny shards of glasses. There was blood everywhere cuz I kept on stepping on the really tiny shards. It looked like a murder scene. And I was crying cuz I thought that was my mom's fav glass container her mom gifted her. But when my mom came back home, she told me that wasn't the same glass container so that was at least a relief. Haha.

    Same question.

When the oven just suddenly died, full of a fancy dinner that had just gone in 15 minutes prior, with guests arriving in 2 hours.

I was stunned. We ended up transferring the dinner to someone else's oven, to finish. I guess we all had a funny story to tell later.

If friendship/platonic kinda love counts, then when my so called best friend in kindergarten abandoned me for another girl. LOL. I was so upset I didn't wanna go to school the next day. My mom told me that I go to school to learn not make friends. And ever since then, I didn't wanna make friends no more or be attached to people.

I’m an ok fast typer, but not superfast because I don’t want to ruin my nail art… ^^’

Name 3 of your favourite Off Topic-posters here (not me though… ^^’ ) and describe in short what you like about them/their posts?

@ignominiusrex: Cuz he always has something fun or insightful to say.
@bluedanube: Cuz she has a fun and enthusiastic vibe that kinda reminds me of myself (when I'm online anyway... I swear I'm kinda boring in real life XD).
@HonestlyBenjamin: Kinda the same reason as bluedanube.

What do you think are you most skillful in?

    Aww ty :)

Tough question. I play a lot of games but don't think I'm exceptional at any of them. I'll probably go with my wit - I think I'm pretty good at thinking of a joke immediately in response to something or making a reference to something else.

What was the last TV show you watched?

NCAA ballgame. It was on at work. I don’t watch much TV.

I have no idea. I live in a place that has no seasons and I don't seem to have an allergy to pollen.

Dark grey drawstring pants, black t-shirt, with a heavyweight rust/russet micro-tartan L.L. Bean buttondown shirt worn open, over it, because it was chilly this morning in the house, and dark brown corduroy house loafers/slippers.

    I know, nothing that exciting.

Oh DeKay, I am so sorry this happened to you. I would have wished to have told your child-self, instead, that it's understandable to be devastated, and that your feelings of hurt and betrayal were valid. And of course school was the only place you could make friends, so your friendships there were very important indeed. You would be at school only to learn and not to make friends, only if you had been a robot rather than a human child. ETA: I'm sure your mother had only the best of intentions, as parents usually do, and probably only meant to help you minimize the impact in your own mind, rather than teach you that you couldn't afford to trust or make friends in school. :( Sometimes a well-intentioned "buck up" speech can come across as "try not to feel anything", without the speaker realizing it.

Who have you had a deep and meaningful in-person conversation with, most recently?

    What makes you insecure?

Health fears, and aging in general. It's so scary to know that most of us aren't going to get to just be basically fine until one day in our 80s we pass away peacefully in our sleep, but that most of us will die of cancer, heart failure, kidney failure, or something like that...slowly, by inches, with the daily loss of the ability to enjoy life, pressing on us from all directions, for years and sometimes decades before we finally succumb.
Not just a few of us, but the majority.

That's the kind of thing that keeps me awake some nights.

    What makes you feel better?

What one piece of advice did you listen to, and how did it work out?

This seems incredible, but I can't remember ever being given advice growing up. My father almost never spoke directly to me and was out of my life very early on. My mother was too busy trying to make ends meet. My grandmother once surprised me by speaking to me directly (something she almost never did either) to corner me about whether I had any interest in relationships, and I could tell her tone was disapproving in case I did. I told her no, she seemed relieved, and that was the end of it. I figured what she didn't know about me, couldn't hurt her.

What do you have in common with a relative?
