Not really. The only superstition I believe in is if a bird flies into your house, someone will die. I've actually had that happen a couple of times and someone in my or my husband's family has passed. It's probably coincidental but still freaky. Also, I was really sick in 2009, and while I was on the couch sleeping, a bird hit our window. It freaked my husband out. Not long after that happened, I ended up in the hospital for a week with meningitis and encephalitis. Needless to say, I don't care a lot for birds.
What is a habit that you had but broke it? How did you do it?
I don't know. Can't think of any right now. But I'm sure I have. The main trick is to just stop doing whatever it is and over time, you'll stop it subconsciously. ๐
I like to look at the snow but I don't actually care for the cold. I do love a snowy Christmas though. I could never live anywhere where there wasn't a chance for a white Christmas. That being said, I live in the southeastern part of the US, and we usually get ice around Christmas instead of snow. The snow usually comes around January, when it doesn't matter anymore.

While making a microwave brownie, something went wrong and there was like a spark-bubble thing on the glass container I always used and I panicked and poured water on it and the whole container exploded. Something very similar happened to my mom and me. The dish was on the stove in direct line to the air conditioner. The dish shattered. We were so disappointed because we wanted those brownies so badly.
I used to have my ears pierced but I let the holes grow closed. I still have a slight hole on the top side of my ear lobes though.
