Maine is full of wild edibles but it's harder to track down which are truly native and which were introduced hundreds of years ago but are now considered, except in the most rigorous sense, native.
So off the top of my head, you can find growing wild here, many edibles including familiar items like:
Maine wild blueberries
wild strawberries
wild black raspberries and blackberries
wintergreen berries aka checkerberries, which are endangered, are a slow-growing forest groundcover and you can dig ripe red wintergreen-tasting berries from under the snow
nannyberries
chokecherries
black elderberry
gooseberry
ground cherries (actually a nightshade but delicious and fun to forage)
cranberries
crabapples
foxgrapes
no idea if they are native but there are these
apples (not native to this continent actually but have been here for hundreds of years)
the ripe hips of beach roses (again, not originally native but have been for hundreds of years)
beach plums
American hazelnut bush
Black walnuts, butternuts, beech nuts,
Sugar maples (for sap)
Staghorn Sumac berries can be made into a tea
Stinging nettle (for greens, teas, etc)
dandelion greens
fern fiddleheads
purslane (greens)
wild leeks
edible mushrooms though deathcaps are spreading throughout the US so extreme caution is advised
and loads more I can't list or remember.
I have picked and enjoyed wild black raspberries, wild strawberries, wild blueberries, groundcherries, crabapples (which aren't truly native) and many more over the years.
I even made a wild black raspberry pie once.
Have you ever picked wild forage?

What type of mushrooms are we talking here
I don't mind eating some, this spicy soup my family used to get had shiitake mushrooms in it. Those tasted fine, but felt kinda plasticky.
You now have to marry the protagonist (or antagonist) of the last piece of media (movie, game, book, etc) you saw/played. How bad is your situation?
Great question, and hubs and I are in perfect agreement on this: it would be what they call a man cave (though I have a hard time imagining that it's not something everyone would want, not just men) with darkness soothing to the eye, woodwork, a slate-bed full-sized pool table, very large plasma screen ( I hate LED screens and am dreading the day our large plasma screen eventually gives out), a leather sofa and some leather club chairs, a bar/beer fridge (even though we've largely given up alcohol, it's nice to have a special beverage. We could stock the beer fridge with Bai), and gaming PCs. And while money is no object and I'm dreaming, gotta have a hot tub down there too. And a place for my guitar and amp.
And there would be Frazetta prints on the walls in addition to other art, and a really good sound system. And a stone fireplace.
This gives a general sense of what I like:
Since it would be so awesome to see and read other people's dream add-on room, same question! And I have heard of a "she-shed" but...do most women actually look at these rooms called "man" caves and not want one too?

I don't want anyone at my house, but if I had to, it would be someone to come give me a deep-tissue massage of the type I can give, but can never find anyone who can give it to me hard enough or deep enough. If I could give myself a massage, that would be perfect.
If you had $10K to spend on yourself however you wanted but couldn't give it to anyone else or spend it on anyone else, what would you do with it?

As cliché as this sounds, I would help to solve homelessness, affordable housing, hunger, better education, etc. It's not in me to be all about myself, so I would use it for good in that way. There is a scripture I love that says "There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving." It always stayed with me and was added to my way of living.
What is something, (or even someone) that/who you appreciate more now that you are older?

Whenever I buy clothes, I like to smell them to get a sense of what I'm going to wear.
Great question. To the person below the same one.

Do you like mushrooms?

Do you prefer having long or short hair?
What is your guilty pleasure?
Around what time in the day (specific hour) do you eat breakfast?
What time do you eat lunch?
What time do you eat dinner?
And I love mushrooms but am now allergic to them as of this past year, sadly.
Guilty pleasures, have a few. Simming is one, asking hubs to feel my muscles is another. He laughs and says it's not fair. But he likes them.
Do you find more desire to do outdoor wilderness activities more, nowadays? (Like hunting or fishing, hiking, canoeing or kayaking, camping?)

I mean R is pretty hot tho, so you lucked out. Not to mention the ending.
Weirdest food combo you've eaten?
Fab YouTuber?
Do you ever find yourself fighting the urge to tell someone they are wrong for stating a poorly-educated analysis/conclusion?
Do you laugh at your own jokes often?
If you could add on to your place any kind of room you desire for free, what would it be?
(I.e a gaming room)

So, let's make it the question.
If you could hire anyone to serve you at your house, who would you hire?
If you had $10K to spend on yourself however you wanted but couldn't give it to anyone else or spend it on anyone else, what would you do with it?
