What's the grossest thing you ever ate?

I wish Icould say something like a goat eyeball, but no, my late mother's cooking. She made such bad cakes that neighbor ladies would corner me and beg if I could stop her from giving them her cakes at the holidays. They were dense, slimy, covered in red sweet goo from a can that should never go on a cake, with junk from the pantry that expired years ago, and she never realized how nightmarish they were to everyone else.

She was part of the reason I started a serious culinary interest at a young age. I honor her memory but her cooking was in a class of its own and got worse, not better.

What's the lightest and heaviest you've been as an adult?
