Insofar as making my own choices, sure. But everything? heck no. We have to learn to let things slide that we can't help or avoid, or we go crazy. And we sure cannot control what others do.
Have you ever baked a pie from scratch?

Seriously? You bake that much, that you can't remember? I knew a guy who baked so much in high school that he was permanently baked thereafter. Was that what you meant?
Biggest regret for 2019: not getting back to the gym promptly after an illness. It's so easy to keep skipping it.
What are your goals for the rest of 2019?

Hahaha, I don't mean the drugs kinda bake. I really mean the cake kinda baking. XD But I've done a lot of stuff like apple crumble, bread pudding, cupcakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, brownies etc etc ever since I was 5 years old, so I can't remember if I've made pie. I've made this apple rose thing which could be considered like an apple pie but it's debatable.
My goals... sigh. Well, I wanted abs for this year. Not even close to it. Hahaa. I think my goals for this year is to just survive 2019. And then start trying to get abs next year.
Wow, those are really beautiful! And how cool that you were baking from such a young age! I guess that would explain not remembering certain things! I too started cooking fairly young (not as young as you!) but in self-defense (haha) because my mother was a truly terrible cook. If you want to strengthen your abs, the plank, and pushups (knuckle, diamond, and so on) are helpful, but you probably know all that.
Goals this year? Surviving seems about right to me, too. And getting my stamina up. strength is fine, now I need endurance to match it. But I am also struggling with grief and just don't care about things I should.
What do you hope will come to pass in 2020?

I feel you there, @Nushnushganay because the key attributes of stamina, strength, and endurance are sort of killer lately.
Hello, my name is Logan. 2019 has mostly been a great year, but it is definitely filled with its ups-and-downs. I'm hoping that when 2020 comes to pass here in just over a month that I can finally take my self-discipline to routines in my life. I have spent a lot of time trying to improve myself in mind and body up until struggling this month. My grandmother used to say in her life, "this too shall pass," when referring to things that are painful in life, little or big. I know that my struggles will pass soon.
Because of that, I'm now looking ahead with bliss. I am excited for the next phase of my life and to begin a professional career which will in many ways begin in 2020. I am going to take it one day at a time. Ultimately, I hope that I am kind to myself and willing to put myself out there fully.
Edit: sorry I forgot to ask a question (therefore, I lose). Thanks to @DeKay for asking a new question!

Aw, thanks. I'm struggling with pushups. XD I feel like I just have too much belly fat that are just covering my abs cuz I'm pretty muscular on my arms and thighs. 😂
