When will it be available? Also can I purchase it in my local store or does it have to be purchased through Origin.

I believe the date they give us on this is April 2015 the last I looked nobody has a actual release date as of yet.

if you live in the states. you can expect it on a Tuesday. so the 7th, 14th, 21st, or the 28th.

There was speculation that it would be released on April 17th but like balthasaur said, in the U.S. games usually release on a Tuesday. My guess is either the 14th or the 21st.

Edit: So far the Tuesday theory is consistent, the BG was released on a Tuesday and OR was released on a Tuesday as well.
