Can no longer move multiple copies of the same item from inventory

As I mentioned in the thread title, I can no longer move multiple copies of the same item from a sim's inventory.

I can sell multiple items but moving them between different Sims is now very inconvenient (especially since I've got an elder with tons of upgrade parts I'd like to hand off before she dies...)

Anyone else have this problem?

(I'm going to start a new game and see if the problem continues and THEN I'm going to take my mods out and see if something conflicts.)

ETA: Sim to fridge is fine, in case you were wondering.

Noticed this after January Patch. No Mods ... vanilla game. Have followed suggestions at
[FAQ] Troubleshooting Steps & Known Issues and EA has one of my save file under review.
