I'm glad I finally got to read your post before it got deleted
It's The Sims Social, a Facebook game. It was fun at first, but essentially it was like those other Zynga games where you had to spend energy to do anything, and soon enough, anything interesting will cost a lot of energy, and you can either wait for it to replenish or spend real money to replenish it right away. And you'll end up doing the latter because you've been hooked at that point and can't say no because you'd otherwise experience withdrawal. And then you'll run out of money but you'll still need a fix, so you'd turn to other means of earning money.
Not speaking from experience, though. Swearsies.
