Origin won't go online!

Can anyone help me? I have been playing Sims 3 for over a year now and today is the first day that it has told me that I'm offline and it won't go online. My internet connection is at full strength but when I tell Origin to go online, nothing happens. Any ideas anyone?

You probably got it to work - but there was probably heavy load on the servers when TS4 went on 'free trial' and may continue as people realise it is on free trial.

That was probably it. Yes, it is working but lagging somewhat while loading. It's still coming up with being unable to connect to Origin but at least it's working now! Thank you for replying
