A mod to make your sims eat/drink faster has been made.

Finally! Please note that I did not make this- MadameButterfly did. I just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention.

I looked in the Mods forums and to my knowledge, this mod wasn't mentioned.

So here you go, thanks to MadameButterfly for making this and those who made the tools so she could! You will need to sign up on this site to get it, however:

And I also tested it out before posting of course, it works quite well.

Did you sign up on their site? If not, you can't view it. The files are also directly downloaded from the site itself as an attachment in her post.

I found the problem. It's not in the passive actions (which this mod addresses), it's in the active actions (the actual bites and swigs). For some reason, Maxis thought it was a good idea to prevent Sims from taking two bites or swigs in a row. I removed this restriction.

My test Sims took multiple bites and swigs in a row, greatly shortening the time they spent eating and drinking.
