@scillakees and @ZeeGee Well, I don't have S4 installed atm. It became too stressful for me with the gamebreaking bugs. It took them a while to fix the toddler and dine-out bug to where I got use to not playing it. The gallery became stressful and hard on my eyes. Trying to keep up with the challenges and creating sims and builds instead of playing the game, was very time consuming and too much concentration. I would go to every one of the 59 I was following to see what they came out with and comment/fav the ones I liked. I just wanted to play and save my stuff to the gallery because you all know I like to install and reinstall all the time, LOL. (I would loose my stuff if I didn't save it to the gallery). I realized what the gallery was really about though, and I am not interested in that. Lots of good creators there though!
S3 is installed and I do play it, but not as much. I love my S3 but I have played it so much (you got to realize I never went back when a new series came out, till S4). I feel kind of lost, like I appreciate and love the 20 years (almost?) that I have enjoyed these games, but I feel its time to let go.
Maybe I have too much time on my hands since I am retired now? I do play SC more than anything atm.
What is SC? It's ok if you feel like it's time to move on. Maybe one day you'll want to play again or not. There are always new things to discover. Some of them might even be as good as s3 (Gasp). You're not going to leave the forums are you? You'll be terribly missed. I Insist you stick around here. Someone has to keep all the goofballs around here under control.
I still don't have s4. I have to keep telling my husband I don't want it. He saw a spoof of an s5 trailer on youtube and thought it was real. So now he keeps telling me I need to hurry and get all of s4 before s5 comes out. He also very sweetly updated my computer and laptop to windows 10 and wiped out my games in the process. (For the longest time I avoided updating my computers because I was afraid of how the game would play on Windows 10) Poor guy was crushed when he found out I wasn't very proud of his kind and thoughtful nature. So... I am installing the games back onto my computers and creating different spread sheets for various content installs. It had been so long since I installed my game that I forgot how to do it and had to ask ZeeGee. So I'm not playing right now. Honestly I don't get to play as much as I would like. I want a solid 4 hours open before I play, that doesn't happen much. So I'll end up going for months without playing. I guess that's why I'm not tired of the game yet. And there are so many things I haven't done in the game yet.
@scillakees SC (I play Sim cities of tomorrow). I usually start my day playing the S3 for a while, then check the forums, then play SC.
OMG, you have a wonderful husband, mine can't stand me at my computer all day. I don't let him near it because he would love to throw it out the window
@FairyGodMother Sorry to hear about the gamebreaking bugs that drove you away from S4. I do have it, I bought it when it went under $5, but I've only played it for a couple hours. Just can't get into it for some reason. And yeah, what Scilla said, step away, take some time, and come back refreshed. There is so much to do in Sims 3. I've been playing for 5 years now and have barely scratched the surface. But then I got involved with machimina which has taken up a lot of time. I've noticed recently in general discussion that a lot of S4 players are coming back to 3, and some new ones are checking it out for the first time. So these must be some particularly nasty bugs.
