I grabbed that lighting mod for MH and it made a world of difference! But I only played for a short while in the world and then moved on to another, more brighter world.
I have my sims bike around the world so I can follow them and see from their eye level what the world is like when I first started playing a new world. You discover all kinds of wonderful things as well as some strange things and a few oopsies that way.

Oh, Rflong never finished Supernatural Island? That's too bad, but yeah at the same time it is nice to add your own lots and make it more your own.
Memorii_Valentine did a similar world (Moonlight Valley) which I totally loved, but didn't have the Supernatural EP in at the time which was sorely needed! I'm glad I saved her file and one of these days I will try it out again with the EP in. The lots in that world were mostly by Hidehi and they were righteous!

I decided to get back to another save in Starlight Shores. I almost lost their save!
I also added two more sims to this save that are Brazilian. The blonde guy is Daniel Torres and the one with the jacket is Carlos Eduardo (I forgot the last name). His nickname is Cadu. Unfortunately, neither of them got hearts for Camila, so, let's see what will happen.

@Nikkei_Simmer It's funny you mention Parker & River in other games. In most of my games, he ends up with Bebe. So I thought it fitting when his Dad mentioned to go for her instead. Plus his pouty face made me laugh. In my last save I had Parker marry my Sim, but meh. LOL
@thuggishsplicer I play on PC. I was going to play the one on Steam, but I didn't like it. I like the Arc (free) version better. I hope you're feeling better these days. Not the same, but I've been dealing with being Anemic the whole of 2020 and now going into 2021. Some days I barely have the energy to get out of bed for the basics, let alone work. With iron infusions, it helps, until my numbers start dropping.
@bekkasan I try not to do anything "fancy" with my blog. I do need to keep it updated. I'm working on that. It's a goal I have for 2021. @emorrill I know you mentioned updates, but I seem to be okay. I picked a simple layout, but I may change it if I find something new that I like.

I could really see us living there for the rest of our lives. But, we'll see. 🙏

In this episode I will introduce the Funke Family history as well as the current Funke Household.
Even though they live across the street from us, I have avoided to follow them closely, as in my younger years none of my closest mates was living in the house. Now with new generations they pop-up in the story more often and I think it is time to make a post about them.
The house at a rainy day, there is no 2nd floor but a basement under the right-side wing, with 3 beds and an extra bathroom
The household was established by now 56 years old Sabrina Funke. Some years before mother arrived to the town, at the same time as Miss Loveland and the Kated family moved in and created Adenture village which was then just the Bridge Horse Ranch, surrounded by barren farmland.
She fell in love with 10 years younger Rhett Arthur, 30 years ago and she got their first child Spencer, when Rhett was just 16 years old. The year after they got Irene. As soon as Rhett turned 18, they married and Rhett took her last name.
Sabrina to the left, Rhett to the right, in the middle their oldest child Spencer known to our story as the farther of David’s daughter’s two children. The only family member living in the house not in the picture is their youngest son, 10 years old Jarod we saw playing in the rain in the previous episode.
Besides the 4 family members, three tenants also stay in the original family house. All in their late 20’s or early 30’s, from right to left: Joshua Jasper, Blaine Malloy and Rene Cummings. They are all newcomers without any family relations in the city.
There oldest daughter Irene we know from the Bridge household where she is the wife of Kenny, and as such hair to the Bridge family fortune.

The youngest daughter Carol we also recently met. The one who became homeless but later moved in with the wealthy construction company owner Mr. Singleton. Now living a life in luxury.

There are a couple ways to resurrect dead Sims. Making Ambrosia and the Restoration Ritual (spell) are two ways. The science facility also offers up an opportunity to resurrect dead Sims, which is what I did for Emily.
Yeah, the sun is nice for her. She also has to shower a lot for water and now that she is a teen, she can plant herself in the ground and photosynthesize. I've got a picture in the next update that I'll share later.
Yep, and Ariana brings home a nice amount of money being Governor. I think the next promotion will be Vice President.
I think so too. She's the one who will bring in the 6th generation so we will see her a lot.

It really is. I always wondered why I struggled so much to find a job, as I've had trouble finding one since high school. Guess God was just waiting for the temporary move so that I'd apply at Walmart.

Yep, even if it's just temporary. A full resurrection of the deceased may happen eventually but it'll be a long way off, if I get to the point I plan on doing that.

Yeah, she knows every elixir and completed all skill challenges so she's great at it. I could actually bring her back later to make some money as she is also a master painter. Christopher can cook all the food too as he mastered cooking.
It'll be interesting to see how the family looks once I add in some of the other occults. I know I'll be having PlantSims for a while though, Daisy's gonna make them all green skinned.
A few more to go and Ariana will LOTFW. I think the limo picks her up now too.

Technically, it'd be the third generation through 5th generation of Langeraks. My Sim, Emily Jones, married Christopher Steel and their granddaughter married Kaylynn's son (Dwight). So basically it goes, Dustin/Iliana, Kaylynn/VJ, Dwight/Melanie, Ariana/Quinton, and now Daisy. Most of Sunset Valley's townies are connected to the Jones/Langeraks now. I expect the same in Riverview and all the subsequent towns I'll move them to.

The next day, as if by fate perhaps, Ranveig was phoned up by Sofie Motor-Karlsen, now married to her brother Eivind, and asked to hang out at the bowling alley. Ranveig didn't think twice before answering that sure, they would meet up. She had wanted to talk to Sofie herself.
It rained alot this spring, and this day wasn't any different. They met outside the bowling alley and talked about the rain and the weather for a while, before heading inside to play a round.
Even though Ranveig thought of this as a good opportunity to have a talk about the old days, she couldn't help letting her competitive instinct take over once the game started.
This fired up Sofie, and certainly, she wasn't going to let herself get beat. All in good sport, though, of course.
The match ended with Ranveig as the winner by 29 points, and after that they sat down for a meal and a drink.
"I was thinking about you just the other day" Sofie began. "I was thinking about the time when we were children. Those were some... interesting times..."
Sofie took another sip from her drink before excusing herself to the bathroom for a while. As she came back, she sat down at the opposite end of the table before jumping straight into it.
"So...how are things at home for you?"
Ranveig: Oh, they're not to bad. both of my boys are doing well in school, and I think Oliver Freddy is making himself a new friend, if you know what I mean.
Sofie: Oh, I think I know excactly what you mean. That's so sweet!
Ranveig: And... for you? How are things?
Sofie: Oh yeah, me and Eivind are doing good. I just got promoted at my job, and I'm now a sous-chef at the restaurant, and Eivind is not far from his dream of being an astronaut. And our children are just lovely, both Kleopatra and our little Walter. Oh, and just the other day he finally figured out how to use the potty by himself, I'm so proud!
Ranveig: Yeah, but I meant... between you and Eivind? How are things?
Sofie: Well, truth be told, and you know what he's like.. he has his quirks..
Ranveig: Oh, I can imagine. It runs in the family.. that's we are like, us Motorsen folks..
Sofie: ..but I have made it my vow to stay faithful, and that I shall keep. Besides, and I say this with all my heart, he is an excellent father for our children and also... let this be between us, but your brother is really good in bed! Sometimes it helps to be both a little inappropriate and insane!
Sofie: But most of all, I am going to stay faithful for the children. Because I know how it hurts when...
Sofie could feel the lump building up in her throat and that sinking sensation in her gut. The sense of panic, confusion and lack of safety.
Sofie: I was only a toddler when they divorced. It was... I still remember the shouting and the screaming. The.. yelling and the threats they gave to each other... I could barely talk yet, but I understood... and I'm sure everyone else knew as well.
Ranveig: Yeah, I think my parents knew. Well, I knew too, somewhat. The rumours did circle around. I must admit though, I was a bit shocked when your parents divorced. I didn't know it was that bad, but I can see now that it was probably for the better at the time.
Sofie: Yeah, my dad just couldn't handle it anymore one day.. after she started a physical fight with him in the library. That's when they finally split and mom moved out. I didn't really know my mom until I was almost a young adult. She didn't visit us for years. And I was really mad with her at first. How she could cheat on my dad like that, and everything.
Sofie: I mean, I know he could be a bit grumpy and hard to deal with sometimes, but... that doesn't make it right... it just doesn't. And with Beau Andrews of all people... the fat, lazy slob!
Sofie: I don't really know how they did it, and it sure took a long time, but at least nowadays they are friends. Somewhat, I think. But I still see it from time to time, and I'm sure Jonathan does, too.. that sometimes when we have family get-togethers, she will prefer to hide away in the next room..
Sofie: He told me she did that just this christmas at his house. When everyone else opened their presents, she was upstairs playing computer games! She didn't come down until she had to, when it was her turn. Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

Ranveig: Yeah, I get that, but at the minimum they are living together again. So it looks like they are trying.
Sofie: Well, they live in the same house again now, but they're not really living together. Mom has her separate apartment. Though they have settled the peace and are not fighting anymore, and they can have their grandchildren over for a visit without any trouble...
Sofie: Oh, I'm sorry for all my blabbering about this. Some conversation, huh?
Ranveig: Well, I am glad we could have it. Honestly, it sets things a bit in perspective. You were always the popular one in school. Especially you and Helene, and well.. I won't say I downright envied you, but there were moments I wished to be in your shoes, without thinking about how it could be at home for you.
Sofie: It wasn't bad at home after mom left, just.. empty. Dad was a good father for me and my brother, though all that happened didn't really help his grumpiness. But still, we had everything we needed and then some. Some days though, it was quite the facade to put up... but yeah, that's what it was like back then.
Ranveig: Yeah, I guess...sometimes though its interesting how things do not always go as planned. Maybe it's just me being crazy again, but every now and then I feel as if there is someone watching over us and whoever that is, actually has it planned for us.
Sofie: Oh no, I think I know excactly what you mean, because I feel the same. And yet plans still fail, it seems. I always felt growing up, that I was meant to live in a traditional happy family where everything was easy and happily ever after and all that. Well, it couldn't have been more wrong!
Ranveig: Yeah, I thought the same. And that I would grow up, get married and live my life just like that. Oh, we could probably go on about this all night, and I would love to continue this conversation with you again soon.
Sofie: Yeah, it's getting late, and I should probably already have been home! Eivind has likely gone to bed by now, as his shift always starts really early. I just hope he remembered to put Walter in his crib...
Hello All. I've been lurking again while working on my video. It's almost done. I thought I ought to try to give some feedback here as I never seem to have time to do it. I went back a few pages to January 16th. I hope I didn't miss any comments people made to me. I know I've already responded to a few of them but not all.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video of Alecia and Dennis on their vacation. I'm almost finished the next video and hope to have it completed today. When I finally do get it posted and you are able to watch it, you will see them in the garden of that church for their wedding. The build has two wedding venues, the indoor chapel and the outdoor gazebo.
Whilst the episode you just watched was all about Alecia and Dennis, this next episode is very busy with lots of things happening with lots of sims. We also, at the very end, get to meet a new Imaginary Friend made real and a new potential spouse who are added to the household when Alicia, Dennis and the current Imaginary Friend made real moves out.
I've been enjoying your stories. I see you enjoy messing with witches.
Whenever I see a witch put a love spell on someone I remember the game when one of my sims was invited to a house party. When it was really late I decided to go and have a look inside the party house. It must have been in Dragon Valley as I remember some Mithrilens being involved. I can't even remember which sims I could control at the time as I jump around households so often in some games. It looks like I was controlling Gobias - but all of his actions with the spell casting were totally autonomous. Apart from finding the whole thing stunningly hilarious, I was somewhat concerned at him casting love spells at his ex-partners daughter even if she was a young adult by that time.
It was my Big Game in which Patience had 15 babies and there were 4 different fathers.
Patience's second eldest daughter, Heather, was there - her father was a sim I made. She was a young adult. Gobias Koffi was there too. He was the second partner of Patience although they'd never been married they had managed to have 5 children together. Patience had since moved on to another man and poor Gobias must have been feeling a little lonely. He was a witch.
I turned up at the party house to have a peek at the party and found Heather, in her sleepwear in her bedroom presumably trying to get to sleep but she was not yet in bed. Gobias entered the room and started throwing love spells at her. She rejected every single one of them and there must have been about a dozen times he tried it. It just went on and on and he did appear a little desperate. They all failed. I had no control over Heather and didn't tell him to do any of it so it was fascinating and hysterically funny to watch. It was one of those moments when it would have been good to record the video. I did manage to get a few screen shots but they don't do it justice.
I thought their outfits were pretty odd too - Heather has flippers on and I don't know if that is her swimwear or sleepwear. In any case she was trying to get into bed while wearing it. When I stopped laughing I probably left them to it. I think the party was breaking up by then anyway. It was probably around 3 am. I had 10 screenshots of it and I don't know how long Gobias persisted but his attempts to seduce her by casting love charms seemed to go on for ever and she was completely unaffected by any of them and he got more an more frantic with each failure. He probably stopped when his magic ran out.
So, if Danny knows more about Musa than you do, are you sure Musa doesn't already have a wife - perhaps Danny has a long lost sister somewhere that you haven't discovered yet?
Congratulations on the wedding and the babies. Maybe Danny can see into the future - or maybe not. I hope they are all happy together. It was nice to see Oscar and Louise and other members of their household at the wedding.
@bekkasan thank you. I've almost completed the next episode now.
When my sims get soaked now and I don't want them to be wet I finally worked out all I have to do is get them to change outfits and then back into their original outfit if that's the one I want them to be in. Having them carrying umbrellas can get really annoying if they are out collecting. Of course, a sun umbrella is very helpful as it seems to reduce the chance of them getting so overheated that they self combust.
I hope you have managed to get your heat pump fixed. I don't do much with room heating here as we only get a few odd days that are cold. The house is not really built for heating it's mostly open plan with wood floor boards that can be a bit hard to heat.
I like the look of that world you're doing up. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it when you have its makeover done and you start you game in it.

I think you must love impressionist art. I get this idea from the pictures you post. Here is Claude Monet's work 'Impression Sunrise'. It's the work that gave that art movement its name. Actually, he did a few with this name, I think the actual image didn't have anything other than the sun, water and fog.
The pic you posted with the tip of one of the hidden islands poking through the fog is what gave me this idea - as well as a few of your previous rainbow pics.

Well, I gave myself a couple of hours to finish my video this morning. But I thought I ought to give a bit of feedback and comments and that's taken up all my simming time for today. So I may or may not make any progress on the video today. It only has about the final 5 minutes or so to finish but that's life. I have other things to get done today.
I have given out all the usual likes and Awesomes.
Governor Ariana Langerak was late for her first day as governor, due to me having Daisy age up right before she had to go. Oh well, she is a three star celebrity so I don't think it'll hurt her much.
This also made Michael late for school so Quinton yelled at him and told him to get there. Michael was later let off by his father, Dwight.
I got Daisy some proper clothes now. I chose a shirt with a flower to show her self love for being a PlantSim.
Being the heir kind of stinks sometimes, Daisy. She was a bit shocked at how expensive bills can be, this one was close to $3000 simoleans.
But she definitely loves the gardening, she can even carry a conversation with the plants. They thanked her for taking care of them and the money trees gave her some extra cash for herself.
Melanie finished her latest novel and was promoted to level 5 of the career. She also made $3000 something in royalties, just from this book. I can't wait until Sunday when she receives the one for all her written books.
Quinton had a book to read for work so he sat down to read it. He enjoyed reading about the music he loves so much.
For those of you who haven't played PlantSims, teenagers and up can plant themselves in the ground to photosynthesize like a plant. This also increases their water bar, which replaces hygiene but is basically the same thing.
Daisy tried to create another potion on the chemistry table but was not successful. If she can't learn it soon, I'm leaving the IF's in Sunset Valley and they won't become real.
***One more update coming after this. One thing I didn't mention above is that Ariana will be an aunt again soon. Her and Michael's sister Abigail is pregnant again. This will make the 5th grandchild for Dwight and Melanie. I believe Dwight has a wish for 5 grandkids so I'm happy he'll be around to see number 5 (and possibly number 6 )
Michael and Daisy had a discussion about athleticism while watching the cooking channel. Neither of them learned the skill but Melanie also watched and she learned a recipe.
Then it was Melanie's birthday and she aged up to elder. Neither she nor Dwight will be around too long in Riverview but they will be for at least a week and a half.
I was lucky and got a picture of everyone living in the household. However, one member gets replaced with a new Sim in a few pictures.
Emily really wanted to stick around with her family and to see Christopher but she decided it's best for her to return to the Netherworld soon. She lives there with all her deceased family and Christopher so she figured she'd see him there anyway.
Daisy doesn't have the athletic trait so I was surprised when she decided to learn the skill autonomously. I allowed her to gain the first skill point then made her do something else. There will be time for exercise soon enough.
Michael was the only one with homework as Daisy won't start high school until Monday.
Then Dwight took him to learn the driving skill. I only had him do the first levels and he will finish the last one soon.
Dwight wasn't very impressed about Daisy's athleticism and it made him feel like the conversation was boring.
Even though Irene Robertson is a zero slider/pudding face Sim, Michael is attracted to her so I decided to let them get together. Michael surprised her with a kiss and she reciprocated. If you recall, I mentioned Michael met a girl at prom.
Irene doesn't have any parents and she also doesn't have a house. Michael got permission from his parents who allowed Irene to move in. Michael also asked her to be his girlfriend and she accepted. I'll probably give her a bit of a makeover but her face won't change much.
And lastly, Melanie cured herself of her lycanthropy. The new occult status for the family will be PlantSims, at least if they descend from Daisy.
***A few more days to play and then the move to Riverview happens. I'm starting them out in a house I've used before but they may get a different one later. I'll probably have to do some work to the town and some houses so the Portered Sims have what they need.

omg...what a creepy song!! I read the words and like a voyeur at an accident scene I had to click the button and play the song. The music was just as eerie as the words and a chill ran down my spine towards the end as it got quieter. I'm gonna drag a heavy chair in front of my doorway tonight!

I did download a few of the player made careers and have used a few, mostly the modeling one. I have a couple others that I want to try like the vet career. I had to wait til I got Pets back in to try it and I haven't found a sim to try it with. Perhaps once I get Supernatural Island rolling I can pick one of the sims in that world to try it.
Hope you enjoy the classes and get an occasional downtime to play sims or just chill.

@Karritz thanks so much for the comments on my update and the pictures. I do love impressionist art. I'm not an artist, but I've tried to do a few art quilts in the impressionist style.
I do use the basic change option especially if I'm playing one of my story saves and being wet is not part of the story.
I usually give my sims the hot and cold rewards since I don't need them dying from cold or heat.
@Karritz I'm sorry to hear you feel your struggling with life (((hugs))) I feel that too sometimes, and mostly just try to distract myself. and fake it till I make it, sort of thing. might not be the healthiest, but that's what I've been doing. Well before I moved Musa in I checked Danny's family tree and no one is on there but Belinda. I also used MC on Musa and saw no one in his family tree either, and then in his relationships I forget what its called but he didn't have any gf but Bianca. and no wife. , same thing with Vance! it was so strange and interesting! you know I just LOVE this kind of stuff! even if it was just a bug or glitch, to have that same thing with Musa and Vance and Danny! I was in heaven! LOL

I was waiting on everyone to wake up for breakfast so I had Quinton play guitar in the bedroom. Some of the family who were awake decided to watch for a bit.
Melanie had a wish to read 20 books so I let her read a book of her choosing. I don't know if she'll complete it, but I'll try.
Quinton and Ariana had a bit of alone time together before heading to the shower. I kind of like that showers are woohoo spots because both Sims can get cleaned at the same time and the fun meter goes up along with social.
Since it was getting later, I just decided to have them all eat at the diner. Irene is fitting in well with the family, although her only friend out of all of them so far is Michael. I was also wrong in my last post, they are only romantic interests at this point in time.
I hadn't seen Cori for a bit, looks like she is doing well. I don't know how many days she has left until her birthday but I'll have to make sure to Porter her over to Riverview as well.
Ariana finally got around to teaching Daisy how to drive. Unlike with Michael, I had Daisy finish it all in one day.
For today, I had Melanie take care of the garden. She got a decent amount of simoleans from the money trees. These ones are not getting transferred to Riverview as I'll start a new garden there and have Daisy be the caretaker.
Irene decided she wanted to become closer to Michael's family so I had her start with his dad. Dwight seems to like her, that's a good thing.
Okay, so I decided to take the plunge and edit her face to make her somewhat better. In my opinion, she actually is a pretty Sim and I was surprised how well she turned out. I even got rid of her poo colored hair and I feel like this color suits her much better.
Now they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Her traits are actually decent too, I know schmoozer, charasmatic, and flirty are three of them. I forget what number 4 is. She also wants to be Leader of the Free World, maybe she can be Ariana's successor.
To celebrate the new relationship, Mike gave Irene Precious Pink flowers. I always seem to do the red or yellow ones so I picked these instead.
Irene was so happy about everything that was happening to her that she jumped into Mike's arms. Then, they went up to Dwight and Melanie's room to have a pillow fight.
And lastly, Quinton got another promotion at work. He also reached level 10 in guitar and has that skill mastered. I'm not doing the skill challenges for it as they can be a pain but at least he doesn't have to worry about raising it for work now.
***Another update will be posted tomorrow, as well as feedback. I know I'm a bit busier tomorrow so not sure if I'm playing then or not. Anyway, things are getting slightly better here in Illinois. Our COVID numbers are going down some and the vaccine distribution is moving into the second phase. Governor Pritzker also is relaxing some of our rules here and indoor dining is allowed now, with only four people allowed at each table and only 25 people in the restaurants at a time.
Two more days until the move to Riverview. I'm thinking it will be a Riverview townie that Daisy will get with, unless a male alien shows up. I need to try and bring one into the family when I get the change.

The new parents were very lucky to be able to sleep through the night!
Danny is already good at baby care! He wakes up, senses that his sleeping babies are lonely, hungry and getting stinky.
He wakes up Bébé, to see to her needs.

"Please don't cry, you're distressing Daddy"

Then Danny awakens Beau.

Danny stands a long time, looking through the wall at his love, sleeping.
He wishes she would wake up, he wants to kiss her.
But Belinda needs her rest.
So Danny does the next best thing.
"Look lil Beau, when you grow up you can be a Mad Scientist too! Just like your Daddy!" says Danny
'yeah, being a Mad Scientist is cool!' thinks Danny
'Well maybe not the evil laughter part!'
''I'm glad I'm not evil anymore, that's no good."
''I should make something nice for Belinda" Danny thinks
"Is she awake yet? Gosh my poor sweetie, that was a lot for her yesterday!"
Belinda awakens and rushes to her daughter! She is so happy that this is Real and not another dream!

Quigley comes right in and gets to work, seeing his employers are busy.

When Quigley sees that it's safe he goes in to have a pillow fight!
Belinda wants to make sure that Quigley is experienced with babies.
"Oh yes I have had experience! I can deal with crying and can make babies laugh as well!"
But can you stay late? We might want to go for a long date" says Danny
"Oh never fear, I will just stay here on duty until you return, not matter the hour!"
This puts Danny's mind at ease and he and Belinda head to get Danny his tattoo!

The babies were well looked after by Quigley! But Max goes right on in and gets to know them.
He is family oriented so he likes kids!
Max checks out his rooms upstairs, he likes the bed, and notices the easels and alchemy work bench. this will be fine! Much more comfortable than the hotel!

I hope that Morgana and Marcus will get to it as soon as the current batch of teenagers will be out of the house (Marcus has a few pieces of that sarcophagus, but not enough). But yes, I remember that someone on the forum mentioned his mummy experiences recently.
Heh, don't worry about that car. My little one pic snippets don't always match what really happened. My families usually have a Sloppy Jalopy as a car just for learning to drive, because it's nice and slow. It has become a tradition of mine to give those cars some kind of ridiculous paint job. After he gets his license, Henrik will continue to use his speed 7 broom.
I enjoy your story updates, by the way. Now I'm curious what solution the oracle will come up with. And I guess the way you presented the "price", it's nothing too difficult to stem. On to the wedding .

I guess everyone is a bit worn out regarding the overall situation with - again - tightening restrictions, but that's nothing compared to suffering through a 6 months layoff. Existential issues are always taxing, and I hope you will actually get to the point where you have something to decide. I wish you and your family all the best and hope it will turn out right for you .

I guess for most people this Thursday was just a normal work day, but for me it was one of those rare days where Gregg was home all day, giving me a day off from being a fulltime mother.
I decided to use the day with mother, that I haven’t spend a lot of time with lately. We went to the Ocean to get a drink and have a nice long chat.
While we were at the Ocean bar. Farther went over to David’s café to have a coffee and maybe paint a bit there, after Mom and Dad have become more well of, the paintings Daddy created at the Café was now all sold for charity purpose.
Fortunately, Daddy ran into David at the café, meeting a long-time friend he had not spoken to for a while.
Mother and I had more than enough at the Ocean, starting quite early and we needed to have some food to stay vertical. Mother called Farther asking him if he could make dinner for us. He said yes and also invited David home.
Sadly, David had to leave before the dinner was ready, never the less nice that we all met and talked with him. Hard to say how he felt inside, but on the surface, he seemed to be all right.
Also Oddisan had a great day visiting the Kated house to play with their dog Remo.
Rahan was home with Gregg all day, likely not having the best day of his life, forced to take a bath to get rid of a flea invation.
Steve’s day was a usual school day, taking the bike up to the Ocean metro stop in the morning as usual.
On the way back, practice a little chess before heading home to do his homework. Steve saw Lorenzo Bridge at the station, but he was in a hurry and did not what to play.

Don’t know much about your sims, as you haven’t posted much since I came here, but a “male robot” (is male/female even a possible categorisation) that gets married to an elder sim, that a first for me. LOL This morning Steve saw Emilia and her husband at the Office-Tower metro station, she was playing for tips
Daisy doesn't have to eat anything since she is a PlantSim so I had her continue trying to create the IF potion to make them real Sims. Unfortunately, it still didn't happen.
I decided to have Dwight do the cooking today. He decided to make pancakes.
Most of the household was awake by this time so most of them got to eat breakfast together.
I sent Daisy over to see what elixirs the alchemy store had but they only had one that I wanted. I had her buy it for future use on Irene. (It's a beneficial elixir)
Afterwards, I had her gain the first skill level in alchemy. I figured since she is the heir, learning some skills will help her out.
I then sent her to the Bistro to take a cooking class and a mixology class. She also took a third class but I forgot which one. I think it was fishing.
Dwight went to become friends with Scot McGraw. He is the son of Sandi French McGraw but I'm not sure who his father is. I had Dwight question him so I could have him write a report for work.
Ariana took Irene to get her drivers license. I only have the more expensive cars so everyone drives them to learn.
I guess that Abigail was pregnant with twins. Since I heard they were born, I sent her mother and father over to see the little ones.
Andrea wasn't doing very well with Mason who kept crying. Apparently it wasn't his diaper because no one complained about the smell or anything.
Melanie decided to pick up baby Chaquita. Sometimes you just have to love the names the game picks for nonplayed Sims. Somehow, I feel Andrea was the one who named her that, lol
"See, Andrea? This is the proper way to take care of a baby," Dwight told Andrea.
"Hey, I did alright with Sheena when she was a baby!"
Sheena: So you're my grandmother? How come I never met you until now?
Melanie: Because our Watcher is very forgetful and doesn't seem to remember to have us meet extended family.
And lastly, Dwight gave Abigail a hug before they left. There are now 6 grandkids for Dwight and Melanie.

Carolyn: Oh good maker.....

The mountain spewed off huge meteor like rocks that rained down
on the town, spawning massive fires.
Ryan: Where's Linda?
Sammie: She went up to the mountain.
Ryan: What?! She'll get killed.You let her go?

Ryan grabbed Linda and pulled her into his car.
The sky turned a bright crimson red from the flames of the wildfires
sparked by the mountain.
The smoke from the fire mixes with the dust particles, causing
a thick veil around the town.
No home is left untouch.Ryan and Linda found a lot to take shelter
in.
Before they could make it in, another eruption rocked the town,
causing a huge fireball.
Ryan was knocked out from the impact.
Linda: Oh! Ryan!
Linda dragged Ryan into the building.
gasping for breathe and crying.
Linda: Ryan! please be okay...oh maker..
Ryan: Uh...I feel like I got hit by a bus..
Linda: Worse...you got hit by a huge piece of a mountain.
Ryan: Funny...
Linda started blaming herself for not getting the town to listen
to her sooner.
Ryan: Its not your fault...If anything, its my fault.
I should have pressed for a sooner evacuation.You did
everything you could...

She worked in the nightlife of an unnamed city, often imitating a scarlet woman or streetwalker. In the first book “Intruder”, a strangler followed single girls to their home, after they have left a bar or club. Sunfighter gets the case after the 2nd victim was found undressed, used and strangled in her bed.

I decided to get back to another save in Starlight Shores. I almost lost their save!
I also added two more sims to this save that are Brazilian. The blonde guy is Daniel Torres and the one with the jacket is Carlos Eduardo (I forgot the last name). His nickname is Cadu. Unfortunately, neither of them got hearts for Camila, so, let's see what will happen.
Since I played with them very shortly, here are some pictures I shared last year.

They are sims that were born in my several gameplays in Appaloosa Plains, but with the personality of my first sims in 2014. Camila will become my new singer and Cauã, kind of my new heartbreaker.
@Nikkei_Simmer It's funny you mention Parker & River in other games. In most of my games, he ends up with Bebe. So I thought it fitting when his Dad mentioned to go for her instead. Plus his pouty face made me laugh. In my last save I had Parker marry my Sim, but meh. LOL
@thuggishsplicer I play on PC. I was going to play the one on Steam, but I didn't like it. I like the Arc (free) version better. I hope you're feeling better these days. Not the same, but I've been dealing with being Anemic the whole of 2020 and now going into 2021. Some days I barely have the energy to get out of bed for the basics, let alone work. With iron infusions, it helps, until my numbers start dropping.
@bekkasan I try not to do anything "fancy" with my blog. I do need to keep it updated. I'm working on that. It's a goal I have for 2021. @emorrill I know you mentioned updates, but I seem to be okay. I picked a simple layout, but I may change it if I find something new that I like.

In this episode I will introduce the Funke Family history as well as the current Funke Household.
Even though they live across the street from us, I have avoided to follow them closely, as in my younger years none of my closest mates was living in the house. Now with new generations they pop-up in the story more often and I think it is time to make a post about them.
The house at a rainy day, there is no 2nd floor but a basement under the right-side wing, with 3 beds and an extra bathroom
The household was established by now 56 years old Sabrina Funke. Some years before mother arrived to the town, at the same time as Miss Loveland and the Kated family moved in and created Adenture village which was then just the Bridge Horse Ranch, surrounded by barren farmland.
She fell in love with 10 years younger Rhett Arthur, 30 years ago and she got their first child Spencer, when Rhett was just 16 years old. The year after they got Irene. As soon as Rhett turned 18, they married and Rhett took her last name.
Sabrina to the left, Rhett to the right, in the middle their oldest child Spencer known to our story as the farther of David’s daughter’s two children. The only family member living in the house not in the picture is their youngest son, 10 years old Jarod we saw playing in the rain in the previous episode.
Besides the 4 family members, three tenants also stay in the original family house. All in their late 20’s or early 30’s, from right to left: Joshua Jasper, Blaine Malloy and Rene Cummings. They are all newcomers without any family relations in the city.
There oldest daughter Irene we know from the Bridge household where she is the wife of Kenny, and as such hair to the Bridge family fortune.

The youngest daughter Carol we also recently met. The one who became homeless but later moved in with the wealthy construction company owner Mr. Singleton. Now living a life in luxury.

There are a couple ways to resurrect dead Sims. Making Ambrosia and the Restoration Ritual (spell) are two ways. The science facility also offers up an opportunity to resurrect dead Sims, which is what I did for Emily.
Yeah, the sun is nice for her. She also has to shower a lot for water and now that she is a teen, she can plant herself in the ground and photosynthesize. I've got a picture in the next update that I'll share later.
Yep, and Ariana brings home a nice amount of money being Governor. I think the next promotion will be Vice President.
I think so too. She's the one who will bring in the 6th generation so we will see her a lot.

Yep, even if it's just temporary. A full resurrection of the deceased may happen eventually but it'll be a long way off, if I get to the point I plan on doing that.

Yeah, she knows every elixir and completed all skill challenges so she's great at it. I could actually bring her back later to make some money as she is also a master painter. Christopher can cook all the food too as he mastered cooking.
It'll be interesting to see how the family looks once I add in some of the other occults. I know I'll be having PlantSims for a while though, Daisy's gonna make them all green skinned.
A few more to go and Ariana will LOTFW. I think the limo picks her up now too.

Technically, it'd be the third generation through 5th generation of Langeraks. My Sim, Emily Jones, married Christopher Steel and their granddaughter married Kaylynn's son (Dwight). So basically it goes, Dustin/Iliana, Kaylynn/VJ, Dwight/Melanie, Ariana/Quinton, and now Daisy. Most of Sunset Valley's townies are connected to the Jones/Langeraks now. I expect the same in Riverview and all the subsequent towns I'll move them to.

The next day, as if by fate perhaps, Ranveig was phoned up by Sofie Motor-Karlsen, now married to her brother Eivind, and asked to hang out at the bowling alley. Ranveig didn't think twice before answering that sure, they would meet up. She had wanted to talk to Sofie herself.
It rained alot this spring, and this day wasn't any different. They met outside the bowling alley and talked about the rain and the weather for a while, before heading inside to play a round.
Even though Ranveig thought of this as a good opportunity to have a talk about the old days, she couldn't help letting her competitive instinct take over once the game started.
This fired up Sofie, and certainly, she wasn't going to let herself get beat. All in good sport, though, of course.
"I was thinking about you just the other day" Sofie began. "I was thinking about the time when we were children. Those were some... interesting times..."
Sofie took another sip from her drink before excusing herself to the bathroom for a while. As she came back, she sat down at the opposite end of the table before jumping straight into it.
"So...how are things at home for you?"
Ranveig: Oh, they're not to bad. both of my boys are doing well in school, and I think Oliver Freddy is making himself a new friend, if you know what I mean.
Sofie: Oh, I think I know excactly what you mean. That's so sweet!
Ranveig: And... for you? How are things?
Sofie: Oh yeah, me and Eivind are doing good. I just got promoted at my job, and I'm now a sous-chef at the restaurant, and Eivind is not far from his dream of being an astronaut. And our children are just lovely, both Kleopatra and our little Walter. Oh, and just the other day he finally figured out how to use the potty by himself, I'm so proud!
Ranveig: Yeah, but I meant... between you and Eivind? How are things?
Sofie: Well, truth be told, and you know what he's like.. he has his quirks..
Ranveig: Oh, I can imagine. It runs in the family.. that's we are like, us Motorsen folks..
Sofie: ..but I have made it my vow to stay faithful, and that I shall keep. Besides, and I say this with all my heart, he is an excellent father for our children and also... let this be between us, but your brother is really good in bed! Sometimes it helps to be both a little inappropriate and insane!

Sofie could feel the lump building up in her throat and that sinking sensation in her gut. The sense of panic, confusion and lack of safety.
Sofie: I was only a toddler when they divorced. It was... I still remember the shouting and the screaming. The.. yelling and the threats they gave to each other... I could barely talk yet, but I understood... and I'm sure everyone else knew as well.
Ranveig: Yeah, I think my parents knew. Well, I knew too, somewhat. The rumours did circle around. I must admit though, I was a bit shocked when your parents divorced. I didn't know it was that bad, but I can see now that it was probably for the better at the time.
Sofie: Yeah, my dad just couldn't handle it anymore one day.. after she started a physical fight with him in the library. That's when they finally split and mom moved out. I didn't really know my mom until I was almost a young adult. She didn't visit us for years. And I was really mad with her at first. How she could cheat on my dad like that, and everything.
Sofie: I mean, I know he could be a bit grumpy and hard to deal with sometimes, but... that doesn't make it right... it just doesn't. And with Beau Andrews of all people... the fat, lazy slob!
Sofie: I don't really know how they did it, and it sure took a long time, but at least nowadays they are friends. Somewhat, I think. But I still see it from time to time, and I'm sure Jonathan does, too.. that sometimes when we have family get-togethers, she will prefer to hide away in the next room..
Sofie: He told me she did that just this christmas at his house. When everyone else opened their presents, she was upstairs playing computer games! She didn't come down until she had to, when it was her turn. Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

Ranveig: Yeah, I get that, but at the minimum they are living together again. So it looks like they are trying.
Sofie: Well, they live in the same house again now, but they're not really living together. Mom has her separate apartment. Though they have settled the peace and are not fighting anymore, and they can have their grandchildren over for a visit without any trouble...
Sofie: Oh, I'm sorry for all my blabbering about this. Some conversation, huh?
Ranveig: Well, I am glad we could have it. Honestly, it sets things a bit in perspective. You were always the popular one in school. Especially you and Helene, and well.. I won't say I downright envied you, but there were moments I wished to be in your shoes, without thinking about how it could be at home for you.
Sofie: It wasn't bad at home after mom left, just.. empty. Dad was a good father for me and my brother, though all that happened didn't really help his grumpiness. But still, we had everything we needed and then some. Some days though, it was quite the facade to put up... but yeah, that's what it was like back then.
Ranveig: Yeah, I guess...sometimes though its interesting how things do not always go as planned. Maybe it's just me being crazy again, but every now and then I feel as if there is someone watching over us and whoever that is, actually has it planned for us.
Sofie: Oh no, I think I know excactly what you mean, because I feel the same. And yet plans still fail, it seems. I always felt growing up, that I was meant to live in a traditional happy family where everything was easy and happily ever after and all that. Well, it couldn't have been more wrong!
Ranveig: Yeah, I thought the same. And that I would grow up, get married and live my life just like that. Oh, we could probably go on about this all night, and I would love to continue this conversation with you again soon.
Sofie: Yeah, it's getting late, and I should probably already have been home! Eivind has likely gone to bed by now, as his shift always starts really early. I just hope he remembered to put Walter in his crib...

I'm glad you enjoyed the video of Alecia and Dennis on their vacation. I'm almost finished the next video and hope to have it completed today. When I finally do get it posted and you are able to watch it, you will see them in the garden of that church for their wedding. The build has two wedding venues, the indoor chapel and the outdoor gazebo.
Whilst the episode you just watched was all about Alecia and Dennis, this next episode is very busy with lots of things happening with lots of sims. We also, at the very end, get to meet a new Imaginary Friend made real and a new potential spouse who are added to the household when Alicia, Dennis and the current Imaginary Friend made real moves out.
I've been enjoying your stories. I see you enjoy messing with witches.
Whenever I see a witch put a love spell on someone I remember the game when one of my sims was invited to a house party. When it was really late I decided to go and have a look inside the party house. It must have been in Dragon Valley as I remember some Mithrilens being involved. I can't even remember which sims I could control at the time as I jump around households so often in some games. It looks like I was controlling Gobias - but all of his actions with the spell casting were totally autonomous. Apart from finding the whole thing stunningly hilarious, I was somewhat concerned at him casting love spells at his ex-partners daughter even if she was a young adult by that time.
It was my Big Game in which Patience had 15 babies and there were 4 different fathers.
Patience's second eldest daughter, Heather, was there - her father was a sim I made. She was a young adult. Gobias Koffi was there too. He was the second partner of Patience although they'd never been married they had managed to have 5 children together. Patience had since moved on to another man and poor Gobias must have been feeling a little lonely. He was a witch.
I turned up at the party house to have a peek at the party and found Heather, in her sleepwear in her bedroom presumably trying to get to sleep but she was not yet in bed. Gobias entered the room and started throwing love spells at her. She rejected every single one of them and there must have been about a dozen times he tried it. It just went on and on and he did appear a little desperate. They all failed. I had no control over Heather and didn't tell him to do any of it so it was fascinating and hysterically funny to watch. It was one of those moments when it would have been good to record the video. I did manage to get a few screen shots but they don't do it justice.
I thought their outfits were pretty odd too - Heather has flippers on and I don't know if that is her swimwear or sleepwear. In any case she was trying to get into bed while wearing it. When I stopped laughing I probably left them to it. I think the party was breaking up by then anyway. It was probably around 3 am. I had 10 screenshots of it and I don't know how long Gobias persisted but his attempts to seduce her by casting love charms seemed to go on for ever and she was completely unaffected by any of them and he got more an more frantic with each failure. He probably stopped when his magic ran out.
So, if Danny knows more about Musa than you do, are you sure Musa doesn't already have a wife - perhaps Danny has a long lost sister somewhere that you haven't discovered yet?
Congratulations on the wedding and the babies. Maybe Danny can see into the future - or maybe not. I hope they are all happy together. It was nice to see Oscar and Louise and other members of their household at the wedding.
@bekkasan thank you. I've almost completed the next episode now.
When my sims get soaked now and I don't want them to be wet I finally worked out all I have to do is get them to change outfits and then back into their original outfit if that's the one I want them to be in. Having them carrying umbrellas can get really annoying if they are out collecting. Of course, a sun umbrella is very helpful as it seems to reduce the chance of them getting so overheated that they self combust.
I hope you have managed to get your heat pump fixed. I don't do much with room heating here as we only get a few odd days that are cold. The house is not really built for heating it's mostly open plan with wood floor boards that can be a bit hard to heat.
I like the look of that world you're doing up. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it when you have its makeover done and you start you game in it.

I think you must love impressionist art. I get this idea from the pictures you post. Here is Claude Monet's work 'Impression Sunrise'. It's the work that gave that art movement its name. Actually, he did a few with this name, I think the actual image didn't have anything other than the sun, water and fog.
The pic you posted with the tip of one of the hidden islands poking through the fog is what gave me this idea - as well as a few of your previous rainbow pics.

Well, I gave myself a couple of hours to finish my video this morning. But I thought I ought to give a bit of feedback and comments and that's taken up all my simming time for today. So I may or may not make any progress on the video today. It only has about the final 5 minutes or so to finish but that's life. I have other things to get done today.

Governor Ariana Langerak was late for her first day as governor, due to me having Daisy age up right before she had to go. Oh well, she is a three star celebrity so I don't think it'll hurt her much.
This also made Michael late for school so Quinton yelled at him and told him to get there. Michael was later let off by his father, Dwight.
I got Daisy some proper clothes now. I chose a shirt with a flower to show her self love for being a PlantSim.
Being the heir kind of stinks sometimes, Daisy. She was a bit shocked at how expensive bills can be, this one was close to $3000 simoleans.
But she definitely loves the gardening, she can even carry a conversation with the plants. They thanked her for taking care of them and the money trees gave her some extra cash for herself.
Melanie finished her latest novel and was promoted to level 5 of the career. She also made $3000 something in royalties, just from this book. I can't wait until Sunday when she receives the one for all her written books.
Quinton had a book to read for work so he sat down to read it. He enjoyed reading about the music he loves so much.
For those of you who haven't played PlantSims, teenagers and up can plant themselves in the ground to photosynthesize like a plant. This also increases their water bar, which replaces hygiene but is basically the same thing.
Daisy tried to create another potion on the chemistry table but was not successful. If she can't learn it soon, I'm leaving the IF's in Sunset Valley and they won't become real.
***One more update coming after this. One thing I didn't mention above is that Ariana will be an aunt again soon. Her and Michael's sister Abigail is pregnant again. This will make the 5th grandchild for Dwight and Melanie. I believe Dwight has a wish for 5 grandkids so I'm happy he'll be around to see number 5 (and possibly number 6
Michael and Daisy had a discussion about athleticism while watching the cooking channel. Neither of them learned the skill but Melanie also watched and she learned a recipe.
Then it was Melanie's birthday and she aged up to elder. Neither she nor Dwight will be around too long in Riverview but they will be for at least a week and a half.
I was lucky and got a picture of everyone living in the household. However, one member gets replaced with a new Sim in a few pictures.
Emily really wanted to stick around with her family and to see Christopher but she decided it's best for her to return to the Netherworld soon. She lives there with all her deceased family and Christopher so she figured she'd see him there anyway.
Daisy doesn't have the athletic trait so I was surprised when she decided to learn the skill autonomously. I allowed her to gain the first skill point then made her do something else. There will be time for exercise soon enough.
Michael was the only one with homework as Daisy won't start high school until Monday.
Then Dwight took him to learn the driving skill. I only had him do the first levels and he will finish the last one soon.
Dwight wasn't very impressed about Daisy's athleticism and it made him feel like the conversation was boring.
Even though Irene Robertson is a zero slider/pudding face Sim, Michael is attracted to her so I decided to let them get together. Michael surprised her with a kiss and she reciprocated. If you recall, I mentioned Michael met a girl at prom.
Irene doesn't have any parents and she also doesn't have a house. Michael got permission from his parents who allowed Irene to move in. Michael also asked her to be his girlfriend and she accepted. I'll probably give her a bit of a makeover but her face won't change much.
And lastly, Melanie cured herself of her lycanthropy. The new occult status for the family will be PlantSims, at least if they descend from Daisy.
***A few more days to play and then the move to Riverview happens. I'm starting them out in a house I've used before but they may get a different one later. I'll probably have to do some work to the town and some houses so the Portered Sims have what they need.

I did download a few of the player made careers and have used a few, mostly the modeling one. I have a couple others that I want to try like the vet career. I had to wait til I got Pets back in to try it and I haven't found a sim to try it with. Perhaps once I get Supernatural Island rolling I can pick one of the sims in that world to try it.
Hope you enjoy the classes and get an occasional downtime to play sims or just chill.

@Karritz thanks so much for the comments on my update and the pictures. I do love impressionist art. I'm not an artist, but I've tried to do a few art quilts in the impressionist style.
I do use the basic change option especially if I'm playing one of my story saves and being wet is not part of the story.
I usually give my sims the hot and cold rewards since I don't need them dying from cold or heat.

Well before I moved Musa in I checked Danny's family tree and no one is on there but Belinda. I also used MC on Musa and saw no one in his family tree either, and then in his relationships I forget what its called but he didn't have any gf but Bianca. and no wife. , same thing with Vance! it was so strange and interesting! you know I just LOVE this kind of stuff! even if it was just a bug or glitch, to have that same thing with Musa and Vance and Danny! I was in heaven! LOL

I was waiting on everyone to wake up for breakfast so I had Quinton play guitar in the bedroom. Some of the family who were awake decided to watch for a bit.
Melanie had a wish to read 20 books so I let her read a book of her choosing. I don't know if she'll complete it, but I'll try.
Quinton and Ariana had a bit of alone time together before heading to the shower. I kind of like that showers are woohoo spots because both Sims can get cleaned at the same time and the fun meter goes up along with social.
Since it was getting later, I just decided to have them all eat at the diner. Irene is fitting in well with the family, although her only friend out of all of them so far is Michael. I was also wrong in my last post, they are only romantic interests at this point in time.
I hadn't seen Cori for a bit, looks like she is doing well. I don't know how many days she has left until her birthday but I'll have to make sure to Porter her over to Riverview as well.
Ariana finally got around to teaching Daisy how to drive. Unlike with Michael, I had Daisy finish it all in one day.
For today, I had Melanie take care of the garden. She got a decent amount of simoleans from the money trees. These ones are not getting transferred to Riverview as I'll start a new garden there and have Daisy be the caretaker.
Irene decided she wanted to become closer to Michael's family so I had her start with his dad. Dwight seems to like her, that's a good thing.
Okay, so I decided to take the plunge and edit her face to make her somewhat better. In my opinion, she actually is a pretty Sim and I was surprised how well she turned out. I even got rid of her poo colored hair and I feel like this color suits her much better.
Now they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Her traits are actually decent too, I know schmoozer, charasmatic, and flirty are three of them. I forget what number 4 is. She also wants to be Leader of the Free World, maybe she can be Ariana's successor.
To celebrate the new relationship, Mike gave Irene Precious Pink flowers. I always seem to do the red or yellow ones so I picked these instead.
Irene was so happy about everything that was happening to her that she jumped into Mike's arms. Then, they went up to Dwight and Melanie's room to have a pillow fight.
And lastly, Quinton got another promotion at work. He also reached level 10 in guitar and has that skill mastered. I'm not doing the skill challenges for it as they can be a pain but at least he doesn't have to worry about raising it for work now.
***Another update will be posted tomorrow, as well as feedback. I know I'm a bit busier tomorrow so not sure if I'm playing then or not. Anyway, things are getting slightly better here in Illinois. Our COVID numbers are going down some and the vaccine distribution is moving into the second phase. Governor Pritzker also is relaxing some of our rules here and indoor dining is allowed now, with only four people allowed at each table and only 25 people in the restaurants at a time.
Two more days until the move to Riverview. I'm thinking it will be a Riverview townie that Daisy will get with, unless a male alien shows up. I need to try and bring one into the family when I get the change.

The new parents were very lucky to be able to sleep through the night!
Danny is already good at baby care! He wakes up, senses that his sleeping babies are lonely, hungry and getting stinky.
He wakes up Bébé, to see to her needs.

"Please don't cry, you're distressing Daddy"
"There's my little sweet pea, Daddy's got you!"
Then Danny awakens Beau.

Danny stands a long time, looking through the wall at his love, sleeping.
He wishes she would wake up, he wants to kiss her.
But Belinda needs her rest.
So Danny does the next best thing.
"Look lil Beau, when you grow up you can be a Mad Scientist too! Just like your Daddy!" says Danny
'yeah, being a Mad Scientist is cool!' thinks Danny
'Well maybe not the evil laughter part!'
''I'm glad I'm not evil anymore, that's no good."
''I should make something nice for Belinda" Danny thinks
"Is she awake yet? Gosh my poor sweetie, that was a lot for her yesterday!"
Belinda awakens and rushes to her daughter! She is so happy that this is Real and not another dream!
She joins Danny, watching the TV.
"I'm teaching Beau about becoming a Mad Scientist!" says Danny. Belinda thinks that's funny.
"Oh! Hon this is too scary for babies! Change it to the cooking channel!"
and Danny changes it right away! Gosh!
"But Is it ok to show kitchen fires to babies?" asks Danny.
No! they turn it off and put down the babies.
"You sure are a foxy Daddy, Danny"
"Danny, we're Parents!!!" wheeeeee!
And they rush to their babies, to make sure it's all real!

Quigley comes right in and gets to work, seeing his employers are busy.

When Quigley sees that it's safe he goes in to have a pillow fight!
Belinda wants to make sure that Quigley is experienced with babies.
"Oh yes I have had experience! I can deal with crying and can make babies laugh as well!"
But can you stay late? We might want to go for a long date" says Danny
"Oh never fear, I will just stay here on duty until you return, not matter the hour!"
This puts Danny's mind at ease and he and Belinda head to get Danny his tattoo!
They get there "Where is the tattoo artist?" asks Danny

"Congratulations! That is quite the accomplishment! says Danny "Well you are welcome to stay with us, until you find a nice house, it must feel lonely in the hotel. We have plenty of room, we would love to have you come stay! But I must warn you we have 2 new borns! Could get noisy!"

Danny gets a snow cone and Max wants to dance. Max notices the burned up witches, they were having a fire fight lol he shakes his head. 'Witches! LOL' he thinks.

Heh, don't worry about that car. My little one pic snippets don't always match what really happened. My families usually have a Sloppy Jalopy as a car just for learning to drive, because it's nice and slow. It has become a tradition of mine to give those cars some kind of ridiculous paint job. After he gets his license, Henrik will continue to use his speed 7 broom.

@emorrill Thank you, I am doing okay. I guess everyone is a bit worn out regarding the overall situation with - again - tightening restrictions, but that's nothing compared to suffering through a 6 months layoff. Existential issues are always taxing, and I hope you will actually get to the point where you have something to decide. I wish you and your family all the best and hope it will turn out right for you

I guess for most people this Thursday was just a normal work day, but for me it was one of those rare days where Gregg was home all day, giving me a day off from being a fulltime mother.
I decided to use the day with mother, that I haven’t spend a lot of time with lately. We went to the Ocean to get a drink and have a nice long chat.
While we were at the Ocean bar. Farther went over to David’s café to have a coffee and maybe paint a bit there, after Mom and Dad have become more well of, the paintings Daddy created at the Café was now all sold for charity purpose.
Fortunately, Daddy ran into David at the café, meeting a long-time friend he had not spoken to for a while.
Mother and I had more than enough at the Ocean, starting quite early and we needed to have some food to stay vertical. Mother called Farther asking him if he could make dinner for us. He said yes and also invited David home.
Sadly, David had to leave before the dinner was ready, never the less nice that we all met and talked with him. Hard to say how he felt inside, but on the surface, he seemed to be all right.
Also Oddisan had a great day visiting the Kated house to play with their dog Remo.
Rahan was home with Gregg all day, likely not having the best day of his life, forced to take a bath to get rid of a flea invation.
Steve’s day was a usual school day, taking the bike up to the Ocean metro stop in the morning as usual.
On the way back, practice a little chess before heading home to do his homework. Steve saw Lorenzo Bridge at the station, but he was in a hurry and did not what to play.

Don’t know much about your sims, as you haven’t posted much since I came here, but a “male robot” (is male/female even a possible categorisation) that gets married to an elder sim, that a first for me. LOL
This morning Steve saw Emilia and her husband at the Office-Tower metro station, she was playing for tips
Daisy doesn't have to eat anything since she is a PlantSim so I had her continue trying to create the IF potion to make them real Sims. Unfortunately, it still didn't happen.
I decided to have Dwight do the cooking today. He decided to make pancakes.
Most of the household was awake by this time so most of them got to eat breakfast together.
I sent Daisy over to see what elixirs the alchemy store had but they only had one that I wanted. I had her buy it for future use on Irene. (It's a beneficial elixir)
Afterwards, I had her gain the first skill level in alchemy. I figured since she is the heir, learning some skills will help her out.
I then sent her to the Bistro to take a cooking class and a mixology class. She also took a third class but I forgot which one. I think it was fishing.
Dwight went to become friends with Scot McGraw. He is the son of Sandi French McGraw but I'm not sure who his father is. I had Dwight question him so I could have him write a report for work.
Ariana took Irene to get her drivers license. I only have the more expensive cars so everyone drives them to learn.
I guess that Abigail was pregnant with twins. Since I heard they were born, I sent her mother and father over to see the little ones.
Andrea wasn't doing very well with Mason who kept crying. Apparently it wasn't his diaper because no one complained about the smell or anything.
Melanie decided to pick up baby Chaquita. Sometimes you just have to love the names the game picks for nonplayed Sims. Somehow, I feel Andrea was the one who named her that, lol
"See, Andrea? This is the proper way to take care of a baby," Dwight told Andrea.
"Hey, I did alright with Sheena when she was a baby!"
Sheena: So you're my grandmother? How come I never met you until now?
Melanie: Because our Watcher is very forgetful and doesn't seem to remember to have us meet extended family.
And lastly, Dwight gave Abigail a hug before they left. There are now 6 grandkids for Dwight and Melanie.
