Tim Burre actually joined Pattina in the pool. I remember I went there sometimes to swim among water lilies when Randall was still living in a house without its own pool. Unlike the SV cemetery, there's less ghosts and actually something to do. I have to see whether I can squeeze in some restrooms and a little cafeteria in a corner. I'll probably skip on igazor's Ferris wheel.

Months ago I tried to get on the PortraitAI (Or was it "AIPortraits" ) website once and it was so bogged down I couldn't get on. (It was SUPER popular at the time!) I tried numerous attempts on different days too. I finally gave up.
Now I look it up and it's telling me it's an app that's only available on iOS and iphones. 🤦♀️ But there HAS to be a website right? I don't have anything Apple.

@Nikkei_Simmer To get a realistic looking face reduce Art to minimum, increase Sharpness to near maximum, reduce Chaos either a little or a lot depending on the image, then toy around wit the other switches until you get your desired result. Which in this case is a photo-realistic version of your sim.

@bekkasan Oh yeah, my saved sims folder gets ridiculous sometimes. Addicted to CAS and I save multiple copies in case my game crashes. I usually try to clear out the copies I don't need right after I play, but my brain isn't always the most reliable. I'd be happy to help you merge your CC. CC Magic honestly makes it so easy. And makes backups for all the files you merge as well, which is super useful. I had a family try to keep a raccoon as a pet once, but he just kept running away and eventually died from starvation.

Back in the Bright save. There was no crashing, so one of my pulled testers must have been the culprit. Now I just have to figure out which one and get rid of it.
Darcy (finally) got her career switched over to Sculpting. I also switched out her Avant Garde trait for Virtuoso. She's currently at a high enough skill level to work with stone. She'll have the skill mastered before she reaches the top of the career.

The sim passed out in a puddle of her own pee had me screaming with laughter when I took it
While Ava was sleeping, a zombie appeared to try to eat someones brains. Unfortunately, no one was outside so Ava's lonely mushroom got attacked.
Ava woke up feeling much better than the night before. She didn't know why she was so upset last night over Susan Wainwrights death but she just felt bad for Boyd and Blair. Ava got a plate of autumn salad from the fridge for breakfast as she planned her morning out.
The first thing on Ava's list was to take care of her one plant so she went outside only to discover what the zombie did. "Stupid raccoons!", Ava mumbled as she tossed it in the garbage. She didn't know that zombies existed so she figured it had to be some kind of animal. She went inside to wash her hands, then grabbed her gym bag and headed out the door.
Ava went into the changing room to put on her gym clothes before heading upstairs to the equipment. Wow, I figured there'd be someone hear, she thought as she got on the treadmill. She started off slowly before upping the speed a bit. Luckily no one was there because she tripped a couple of times before she decided to give up for now. Just as she was leaving, Jamie Jolina showed up so Ava gave her a quick wave before heading over to the park.
Ava was surprised by how many flowers there were in the park. She had been told that you could see them for a little extra cash so she spent some time collecting as many as possible.
She was just about ready to leave for home when she saw her acquaintance, Leighton Sekemoto, show up. She decided to go over and say hello and see his cute little boy, Sam. "Hello, Leighton," she said, giving him a warm smile. Leighton looked up to see Ava and he smiled back. "Hey, how are you? It's Ava, right?" Ava nodded her head before turning her attention to Sam. "Well hello, cutie. Are you being a good boy for Daddy?" she asked. Sam looked at her before burying his head in his father's chest. "He's just a little bit shy," Leighton told her. "I've been trying to get him to socialize with others but I haven't had luck so far." He put Sam down so he could play nearby then continued his conversation with Ava. Soon they were talking about their favorite things and Leighton told her all about the great pancakes at the diner. "And they make them so big, they barely fit on the plate!" he said excitedly. "That sounds a bit too much for me but I'll definitely try them sometime." Then Leighton got an idea. "Hey, why don't we go to breakfast together this weekend?" he asked. Ava's eyes lit up at the suggestion as she had a small crush on Leighton to begin with. "I'd love to! How about we try for Saturday? Sunday would work too but I can't wait to try the pancakes." So Leighton and Ava agreed to meet at Hogan's Saturday morning. Ava gave him a hug and got ready to head home. But yet again, someone caught her eye and her mind went back to the conversation with Gus Hart about his theory on Susan's death.
"Sir, sir?" Ava said as she rushed over to an elderly man. "Yes?" the man said as he turned to face her. "I'm Ava Sinclair and I was just wanting a moment of your time." she told him. The man shook her hand and introduced himself as Buster Clavell. "So what did you want, Ms. Sinclair?" Ava then asked him about the meteor's that hit the shopping center. She had read in the paper how Buster had been there and had witnessed the whole thing. "It was terrible, the darn thing just fell on top of ol' Susan." he said. "Of course, maybe if she and her husband weren't doing all those weird science experiments, maybe this wouldn't have happened." Ava was a bit surprised by this, she knew the Wainwrights were scientists but she didn't know how they could cause a meteor storm. "What do you mean, Mr. Clavell? You think Susan brought a meteor down on herself?" Buster shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I don't know if it's possible but who knows in this town. If Gus Hart is to be believed, it was aliens or Bigfoot. Gus is a little strange though, so I wouldn't take anything he says seriously. He keeps going on about being abducted by them or something." Ava kind of agree with Buster, although she liked Gus and thought he had a good sense of humor. "Well, Mr. Clavell, thank you for your time. I didn't mean to question you to death, I know the reporters did that." Buster rolled his eyes at the comment. "Yeah, Fiona wouldn't leave me alone about it. Anyway, I really need to go. My wife is waiting for me at the grocery store."
Ava got ready for work then headed to the grocery store. She happened to notice Boyd Wainwright sitting on a bench near the site of Susan's tragic death. "Why, Susan? Why'd you have to leave me?" he cried as he looked to the sky. The citizens of Sunset Valley felt bad for him but they ignored him as they really didn't know what to do. Ava felt sorrow for him, she knew his heart must be broken. She rushed into work as it was a bit too much to bear, seeing him so grief stricken. Ava sorted more produce and by the time she had finished work, her boss promoted her to a Blue Light Specialist! With the money she earned, she bought a used car and went home.
***A few things connect to the previous updates. First of all, Ava had met Leighton on one of her first days. They had attraction so I decided they'll be together for a bit. Boyd is too upset right now and I need him and Ava to grow closer before anything happens there. Next, Buster gave a different reason for the meteor shower. He thinks the Wainwrights were doing experiments that caused it. They were up to some secretive things but they may or may not be the actual cause. Think of them more as targets, if anything. There will be an update or two before Leighton and Ava's first date but I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes. How will Yumi feel about Ava and will Sam get over his shyness? We'll find out soon enough.
PS: No feedback tonight, my head is hurting and I don't think I'd better try to do it now. I want to give proper feedback and I'd probably rush to get it done. I also am not playing any save tonight but will do feedback sometime tomorrow. Hope you all have a great day and happy simming!

Yes, it is a small house I threw together to use with a new Sim in Monte Vista.
Interior pictures of the ground floor are on page 3960 (second to last post on the page).
Basement pictures are on page 3961 (above your story).
Although it is an odd house (good for one Sim or a couple) ...
I will upload it to the Exchange after I have tested it for any issues or found any possible mistakes in the build.
I don't usually have issues in my builds but I like to make sure before passing them on.
The build is CC free, and can be managed by anyone who has most of the EP's and some of the SP's.

I like that lot in Bridgeport and have played it many times.
However ... I was playing that lot when two weird game things happened.
It was on that lot the mysterious Black Unicorn walked in the house during the night while my Sim was sleeping.
I though I saw something in the house, but couldn't tell what it was, so I when to Build mode and turned the daytime on.
It about scared me to Death ... Creepy Black Unicorn staring at my Sim while she was sleeping ...
It's also the lot I was playing when my next opponent in a ranked chess match was the Grim Reaper.
He showed up, we played chess, he loss, we chatted for a bit and became friends ...

And I only changed the hair color on the Sim because I wanted a bit more of a feel for the Monte Vista theme.
Most of the time, I might mess with the highlights a little, but really just see what works.

While stationed in Germany, I had the opportunity to meet and work with service members from other countries.
I became good friends with a fellow sister-in-arms from Italy.
I was surprised that she had very striking crystal blue eyes, that were to die for considering her complexion and hair.
I thought about using that color when making the Sim, but decided against it.

I woke up late today - and started simming. I think I'll take a break now.
But the thing I did was to play a different game. I had thought about playing Fiona for a bit after deciding not to. So I launched a game I'd previously saved in Mountain Valley.
I know I said I wasn't planning to play Fiona but I just wanted to do something simple that wasn't a battle with a severely overstuffed household. I've set up a few player made worlds that I haven't played previously with sims I have either made specially for one of the children of Olivia and Don, or sims I've randomly pulled from my library and I haven't played recently. I don't think any of them are in my Big Game so Oscar and the McFluffs are not likely to come across them.
There is a pair of girls I put into a world name Mountain Lakes. I added Fiona to their household. None of them have any skills or experience. I had previously given the two sims a makeover and they now have CC on them. I did show you pics of when I set up this world but I'll post some more here so you know who I'm talking about.
I've put Fiona into the Architectural Desiger Career because I haven't played it much and never make any real progress with that career. I thought I'd play her for a while in this world. Probably won't get her to the top of that career though. I don't know if she'll make any progress in it if I'm not playing her household. The careers I do know will get the sims to the top of their careers when in non played households in an active world include Gost Hunter, Singer, and Magician. I hope Acrobat will progress too and I'm going to find out for sure because Chas is in the Acrobat career and I'll be moving him out soon.
I sent all three of the sims in Fiona's household to the future. I had a bit of a look around. Put my Gondola lot into the world. Got the girls to grab a few items carelessly left lying around the visitor centre. Such as a couple of sprites, hover boards, computers and a jet pack. Then I spotted a couple of interesting looking bots and added them to the household. Then I went to have a look around the gondola lot and saw a pretty child at the lemonade stand and her last name was Walker so I was curious to see if the game had somehow linked her to the Perfect Genetics household. So I added her to the household. Then I decided I didn't want her in the household any more after seeing her traits and couldn't merge her back into her original household as the active household were visitors so I had a little think about all the various options I had to do with her and decided to shut down without saving.
I did previously save after adding the gondola lot to the world, Not sure if the plumbots were added before or after I saved. I think I'll go do something else now. I really need to get the narration finished for Episode 39 of the Perfect Genetics Challenge video.
Here are a few pics I got of them in the Future. This is the basic, normal, version of Oasis Landing.
The two sims with Fiona are her housemates. Of course I originally launched their save so I could find out their names and tell you about them, but I didn't manage to find out anything much other than the one with the long dark hair is a genie. They all have careers now - education, culinary and architectural designer. Fiona is the one with the bun. She almost joined the painter career as that's her main interest but I've done that career many times and decided to try something a bit different for a while with her.
@CravenLestat I wondered where I got all that ripped and dirty clothing from. I thought it was probably from Supernatural due to how it looks so perfect for zombies.
I love that garden in a boat. I use it often.
@Lashin I see you're having fun with basements. If you run into error 12 on that save try saving away from the lot. I find big basements tend to encourage Error 12 in my games. But - I usually have massive gardens down there and usually have 4 basements.
@bekkasan I find some hairs change the shape or volume of the head and they will work beautifully with some head shapes on some sims or look massively bad on others. Instinctively I try to keep the eyes about half way between bottom of chin and top of head. If I try a hair that squashes the top of the head down too much I have to either get a different hair (which is what I normally would do) or change the position of the eyes and that means a huge redo of the sims face - so I change the hair.

"Sir, sir?" Ava said as she rushed over to an elderly man. "Yes?" the man said as he turned to face her. "I'm Ava Sinclair and I was just wanting a moment of your time." she told him. The man shook her hand and introduced himself as Buster Clavell. "So what did you want, Ms. Sinclair?" Ava then asked him about the meteor's that hit the shopping center. She had read in the paper how Buster had been there and had witnessed the whole thing. "It was terrible, the darn thing just fell on top of ol' Susan." he said. "Of course, maybe if she and her husband weren't doing all those weird science experiments, maybe this wouldn't have happened." Ava was a bit surprised by this, she knew the Wainwrights were scientists but she didn't know how they could cause a meteor storm. "What do you mean, Mr. Clavell? You think Susan brought a meteor down on herself?" Buster shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I don't know if it's possible but who knows in this town. If Gus Hart is to be believed, it was aliens or Bigfoot. Gus is a little strange though, so I wouldn't take anything he says seriously. He keeps going on about being abducted by them or something." Ava kind of agree with Buster, although she liked Gus and thought he had a good sense of humor. "Well, Mr. Clavell, thank you for your time. I didn't mean to question you to death, I know the reporters did that." Buster rolled his eyes at the comment. "Yeah, Fiona wouldn't leave me alone about it. Anyway, I really need to go. My wife is waiting for me at the grocery store."
Ava got ready for work then headed to the grocery store. She happened to notice Boyd Wainwright sitting on a bench near the site of Susan's tragic death. "Why, Susan? Why'd you have to leave me?" he cried as he looked to the sky. The citizens of Sunset Valley felt bad for him but they ignored him as they really didn't know what to do. Ava felt sorrow for him, she knew his heart must be broken. She rushed into work as it was a bit too much to bear, seeing him so grief stricken. Ava sorted more produce and by the time she had finished work, her boss promoted her to a Blue Light Specialist! With the money she earned, she bought a used car and went home.
***A few things connect to the previous updates. First of all, Ava had met Leighton on one of her first days. They had attraction so I decided they'll be together for a bit. Boyd is too upset right now and I need him and Ava to grow closer before anything happens there. Next, Buster gave a different reason for the meteor shower. He thinks the Wainwrights were doing experiments that caused it. They were up to some secretive things but they may or may not be the actual cause. Think of them more as targets, if anything. There will be an update or two before Leighton and Ava's first date but I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes. How will Yumi feel about Ava and will Sam get over his shyness? We'll find out soon enough.
PS: No feedback tonight, my head is hurting and I don't think I'd better try to do it now. I want to give proper feedback and I'd probably rush to get it done. I also am not playing any save tonight but will do feedback sometime tomorrow. Hope you all have a great day and happy simming!

Yes, it is a small house I threw together to use with a new Sim in Monte Vista.

Although it is an odd house (good for one Sim or a couple) ...
I will upload it to the Exchange after I have tested it for any issues or found any possible mistakes in the build.
I don't usually have issues in my builds but I like to make sure before passing them on.
The build is CC free, and can be managed by anyone who has most of the EP's and some of the SP's.

I like that lot in Bridgeport and have played it many times.
However ... I was playing that lot when two weird game things happened.
It was on that lot the mysterious Black Unicorn walked in the house during the night while my Sim was sleeping.
I though I saw something in the house, but couldn't tell what it was, so I when to Build mode and turned the daytime on.
It about scared me to Death ... Creepy Black Unicorn staring at my Sim while she was sleeping ...
It's also the lot I was playing when my next opponent in a ranked chess match was the Grim Reaper.
He showed up, we played chess, he loss, we chatted for a bit and became friends ...

And I only changed the hair color on the Sim because I wanted a bit more of a feel for the Monte Vista theme.
Most of the time, I might mess with the highlights a little, but really just see what works.

While stationed in Germany, I had the opportunity to meet and work with service members from other countries.
I became good friends with a fellow sister-in-arms from Italy.
I was surprised that she had very striking crystal blue eyes, that were to die for considering her complexion and hair.
I thought about using that color when making the Sim, but decided against it.

I woke up late today - and started simming. I think I'll take a break now.
But the thing I did was to play a different game. I had thought about playing Fiona for a bit after deciding not to. So I launched a game I'd previously saved in Mountain Valley.
I know I said I wasn't planning to play Fiona but I just wanted to do something simple that wasn't a battle with a severely overstuffed household. I've set up a few player made worlds that I haven't played previously with sims I have either made specially for one of the children of Olivia and Don, or sims I've randomly pulled from my library and I haven't played recently. I don't think any of them are in my Big Game so Oscar and the McFluffs are not likely to come across them.
There is a pair of girls I put into a world name Mountain Lakes. I added Fiona to their household. None of them have any skills or experience. I had previously given the two sims a makeover and they now have CC on them. I did show you pics of when I set up this world but I'll post some more here so you know who I'm talking about.
I've put Fiona into the Architectural Desiger Career because I haven't played it much and never make any real progress with that career. I thought I'd play her for a while in this world. Probably won't get her to the top of that career though. I don't know if she'll make any progress in it if I'm not playing her household. The careers I do know will get the sims to the top of their careers when in non played households in an active world include Gost Hunter, Singer, and Magician. I hope Acrobat will progress too and I'm going to find out for sure because Chas is in the Acrobat career and I'll be moving him out soon.
I sent all three of the sims in Fiona's household to the future. I had a bit of a look around. Put my Gondola lot into the world. Got the girls to grab a few items carelessly left lying around the visitor centre. Such as a couple of sprites, hover boards, computers and a jet pack. Then I spotted a couple of interesting looking bots and added them to the household. Then I went to have a look around the gondola lot and saw a pretty child at the lemonade stand and her last name was Walker so I was curious to see if the game had somehow linked her to the Perfect Genetics household. So I added her to the household. Then I decided I didn't want her in the household any more after seeing her traits and couldn't merge her back into her original household as the active household were visitors so I had a little think about all the various options I had to do with her and decided to shut down without saving.
I did previously save after adding the gondola lot to the world, Not sure if the plumbots were added before or after I saved. I think I'll go do something else now. I really need to get the narration finished for Episode 39 of the Perfect Genetics Challenge video.

The two sims with Fiona are her housemates. Of course I originally launched their save so I could find out their names and tell you about them, but I didn't manage to find out anything much other than the one with the long dark hair is a genie. They all have careers now - education, culinary and architectural designer. Fiona is the one with the bun. She almost joined the painter career as that's her main interest but I've done that career many times and decided to try something a bit different for a while with her.
@CravenLestat I wondered where I got all that ripped and dirty clothing from. I thought it was probably from Supernatural due to how it looks so perfect for zombies.
I love that garden in a boat. I use it often.
@Lashin I see you're having fun with basements. If you run into error 12 on that save try saving away from the lot. I find big basements tend to encourage Error 12 in my games. But - I usually have massive gardens down there and usually have 4 basements.
@bekkasan I find some hairs change the shape or volume of the head and they will work beautifully with some head shapes on some sims or look massively bad on others. Instinctively I try to keep the eyes about half way between bottom of chin and top of head. If I try a hair that squashes the top of the head down too much I have to either get a different hair (which is what I normally would do) or change the position of the eyes and that means a huge redo of the sims face - so I change the hair.
