I got the car back from the repairer late on Wednesday, then I drove my son to work on Thursday morning so I could go out and buy groceries and had to collect him from work afterwards with choir practice in the evening. I don't enjoy driving him to and from work. I've done it a few times lately. Not only does it take about an hour out of my day, but the traffic is bedlam and at one point I have to join into a stream of heavy traffic, with some drivers exceeding the speed limit and get across 4 lanes (in the space of about 100 meters/yards) to be able to turn into the street to get to where he works. That bit is just plain terrifying. Fortunately I have made it without incident so far, but don't intend to continue doing it twice a day.
On Friday I worked on my video and this morning I'm relieved to say It is ready to load to YouTube.
I always knew the first episode or two of Oscar's Childhood in the new big game save would be harrowing. I did wonder a few times if I would be able to get it to work at all. It seems to be going on ok. I had to reduce the graphics a bit so the distance shots are not as pretty as they could be at the moment. They are good in the video I'm loading but right now in my game they are just like heavy fog in the middle distance.
It seems, now I've got the memory use sitting way below danger levels, the lag/freezing is still mostly there. So it has to be the garden, or maybe there are still too many sims in the household. One of the teens turns out to be insane and I've watched some of the things he gets up to autonomously and I see the game freeze for a few minutes just before he goes into action. It seems to just sit there waiting for the code to load for him to do something strangely different. At least he is entertaining in a surprising sort of way.
Anyway, I see everyone's games are still going on nicely and lots of beautiful pictures are being posted.
Today I plan to start loading Episode 14 of Oscar's Childhood to YouTube and then start work on Episode 15. I have the video recorded for the next episode. I hope whoever is interested will enjoy watching it.
For some reason I'm really tired today. I mostly just want to sleep right now. But it's lunch time. And tonight I'm going out so will have to start getting ready for that soon.
@coco Laetitia looks beautiful! Is any of it cc? I especially love the necklaces. I'm in need of more jewelry for my sims... Valentina doesn't look good in the chokers - they're too "Goth" - looking for something more modern. I'm also looking for female sim flannel/plaid shirts, more jeans and shorts, and cute tshirts. Also, when getting multiple shirts etc in a download is there a way to pick and choose which to keep and which to uninstall? I've seen ones I like at Lana's CC Finds but there's always one or two in each set I'd hate to have thumbnails show and wouldn't even let em wear! (Stuff with plum words. It shouldn't exist!) Also I don't like cropped shirts, unless there's highwaist pants or shorts to make it less showy. Guess you can say I like to dress Modest myself and prefer my sims be the same. Any other cute pajamas? There's only a couple nightgowns and one onesie for adult sims - I hate the lingerie.
Pardon my rambling... I'm just really picky about clothing on ts3 lately and need something new to pick from.
Also, any skin recommendations for ts3? And other sliders besides the ones with it?

Make it a secret spooky day party place or something... have a graveyard nearby... and a pumpkin patch... maybe a couple death flowers... and garlic, because of vampires? Maybe I should geg Supernatural now. I'll just say its mostly for the furniture and clothes... and FAIRIES! I don't care about zombies or werewolves or vampire powers - Unless I do the Addams Family... but even then I don't wanna give myself nightmares. At least it comes with a lot of teddy bears. And Bonehilda! Rocking chairs! Bookcase doors (Hidden door in a library, anyone?), Whack-a-monster! Oh, and possibly evil jellybeans... 😈

It's too hard to do daycare while also tell Valentina to do Sing-a-grams (plus if she gets gigs I have to fulfil requests) and Justin's architect job all at once.
3. Decide if Aleah will like being in a new town and having a stepdad. Probably not...
4. Get a picture of Aleah and Valentina to compare genetics... (and dig up one of Clifton as well.) I think Aleah is more Clifton than Valentina... but she got the traits from Valentina being a singer (Virtuoso and Artistic)

Very nice! Not a big fan of really low necklines like that first dress but the 2nd(and maybe 3rd?..maybe 2nd again with different lighting making the color look different, not sure...) are beautiful! The others are nice too, but those 2 pics I put under the second spoiler are the best by far!

After a long break I was playing The Sims 3 today. I have had this game since it came out, but at the time my computer couldn't really handle it that well. So I started playing with one sim, Anna, who wants to own and run lots of resorts. I decided to explore all that the Sims 3 has to offer though, and sent her to summer carnival and to get her face painted there. This is when I saw this! I was laughing for a long time when I realized who was the artist doing face painting! It's Bob Ross! That's hilarious!

Everything on her is cc. I downloaded those necklaces yesterday so I'm glad you like them. They are by NataliS and Severinka at TSR. I also prefer to dress my sims modestly. For flannel shirts all you need are some good patterns which you can apply to EP/SP and Store clothes. CravenLestat has some good ones in his studio on TS3 website. I'm sorry I can't help you regarding unmerging packages. There might be some tutorials out there but I have never done it. Tumblr cc find blogs and google is your friend for finding suitable clothes. There are probably hundreds of different types of jeans out there, I know becaue I have heaps in my game. I don't think I have many cc pajamas, I usually just use SP or Store content. Master Suite Stuff is good for lingerie if you don't have that I recommend it.
For skin, I usually just go with the most popular ones. Kurasoberina, Brntwaffles, Mango Smoothie etc. There are plenty of threads out there recommending different ones.

Well, forgot to take any screenshots, but my new household, the Gold siblings Bryan and Melody and their dog Lucky, have lived in their new town, Starlight Falls, for a little under 1 Sim-year now. Bryan is a self-employed Angler with level 7 Fishing and 8 Handiness, and level 5 Cooking skill as his most notable ones(he did several repairs and listened to a BUNCH of the "Tool Talk" tabcast on his "Multitab 6000" or whatever that thing is called). Melody is a self-employed Inventor with level 6 Inventing, level 6 Handiness(lots of upgrades and some "Tool Talk" tabcasts), and level 6 Artisan as her most notable ones. Lucky has a level 8 Hunting skill and a bunch of positive learned traits along with a couple tricks. The Golds have very little money and are often barely avoiding missing paying their bills, while Bryan has gotten himself a girlfriend in one of the richest girls in town, Sadie Mason, who he didn't even know was rich until he attended a costume party at her place on Spooky Day.
Sadie is a Singer of the "Local Phenomenon" rank with the Traits "Family Oriented", "Friendly", "Virtuoso", and 2 Bryan doesn't know yet, "Good" and "Born Performer"(I only know of them thanks to shift-clicking with "Testingcheatsenabled true" and taking her into CAS to check), she just refuses to disclose them for some reason.
Tons of lag when rotating and tilting the camera, or switching outfits in CAS but otherwise the game seems to be working fine on the new comp...no clue why all the lag when doing those though... ?_?
Unfortunately soon I won't be able to get online for a while and probably won't have time to play much. We'll be moving early next month irl, but at least I got the stuff downloaded so I CAN play whether I can get online or not. Well, if I can find the time anyway.

Ashley always the most arrogant, so usually be "miserable" (faceless, napping on the bed<because he has snob trait, others always napping on sofa> because of this I always have to use megaphone to woken him up otherwise can't sleep)
Dederick always the most "transparent", seldom appears autonomously, but he is the most easy going (other two, especially Ashley, easily to respond negatively)

@rubyskywalker Thank you. Everything on her is cc. I downloaded those necklaces yesterday so I'm glad you like them. They are by NataliS and Severinka at TSR. I also prefer to dress my sims modestly. For flannel shirts all you need are some good patterns which you can apply to EP/SP and Store clothes. CravenLestat has some good ones in his studio on TS3 website. I'm sorry I can't help you regarding unmerging packages. There might be some tutorials out there but I have never done it. Tumblr cc find blogs and google is your friend for finding suitable clothes. There are probably hundreds of different types of jeans out there, I know becaue I have heaps in my game. I don't think I have many cc pajamas, I usually just use SP or Store content. Master Suite Stuff is good for lingerie if you don't have that I recommend it.
For skin, I usually just go with the most popular ones. Kurasoberina, Brntwaffles, Mango Smoothie etc. There are plenty of threads out there recommending different ones.
I hope you are able to get Supernatural some day. For some reason I can't get into it but there's a reason why it's still one of the most popular EPs

Sadie is a Singer of the "Local Phenomenon" rank with the Traits "Family Oriented", "Friendly", "Virtuoso", and 2 Bryan doesn't know yet, "Good" and "Born Performer"(I only know of them thanks to shift-clicking with "Testingcheatsenabled true" and taking her into CAS to check), she just refuses to disclose them for some reason.
Tons of lag when rotating and tilting the camera, or switching outfits in CAS but otherwise the game seems to be working fine on the new comp...no clue why all the lag when doing those though... ?_?
Unfortunately soon I won't be able to get online for a while and probably won't have time to play much. We'll be moving early next month irl, but at least I got the stuff downloaded so I CAN play whether I can get online or not. Well, if I can find the time anyway.
