@GraceyManor Rather than speculate which mod is causing the problem, why don't you just start a new save without any and add them back one at a time.
  • MikezumiMikezumi Posts: 47,605 Member
@GraceyManor Can you remember which of the mods you added before the problem started? If so, you could start by removing those first.

@AbellaKellaher I'm happy you had time to get back to this story. I've missed it. Such a tease with the first picture of the twins! It sounds like a great story and look forward to it.
Ammon was pretty slick getting Karlie to defend her Mom like that! Smart guy! Such sweet scenes with them talking and I melted when she called him Dad! Glad he got to feel that baby kick!
hehe, she still let her Mom feel some of that hurt. We daughters are terrible sometimes!
That old house is marvelous and creepy. Love your descriptions. I don't think I'd of wanted to go back in even knowing she was dead. I was worried for a few but that whacking with the pillow certainly brought her out of the trance! :D I hope the book ends up being what they were looking for.
Interesting that Ammon found his work in the AI. I can't wait to see how you tie all that together. I didn't like the sound of what that guy was saying on the phone!
I think Niella will forgive her...hopefully before she pops that baby out, but she looks like she is ready to pop it out soon.

@GraceyManor It seems like we learn something new about it all the time! The community we have here sharing tips and stories is really special. I don't have any idea why Chelsea has glitched like that with the sleeping thing. It is not something I've ever seen or heard about. The only mods I have on your list are Nraas ones, I don't have any of the others. I'd start with the latest one you added and pull it out.

    @bekkasan @Mikezumi
I haven't added any mods recently, this just randomly started happening.
The most recent one would be the deep conversations..

Someone else had this issue many years ago, but no solution was posted.

@GraceyManor I thought I read that this has happened before in your game? Am I mistaken?
  • MikezumiMikezumi Posts: 47,605 Member
@GraceyManor I won't read the post you have linked because I have seen you post several very suspect links on the forum and don't want to take any risks.

Wow....You really felt the need to say that? I get that you don't particularly care for me, that's fine, but you didn't need to make it sound like I go around posting bad sites.

I'll figure the issue out on my own.

I don't know why you think I don't care for you. I have always been nice to you and read and commented on your posts. I never said you did it intentionally but I have seen it happen which makes me wonder if a lack of caution isn't what causes your multitude of game issues.

Any mod I have downloaded have come from modthesims no where else.I refuse to download from the sims resource because of their glitchy ads.And I assume modthesims is safe.

The ones I have seemed okay, some were recipes you posted yourself so I assumed those were fine to install.
I always check the comments before installing to see what people are saying about it.The only questionable one is the disasters and blessings mod.
    And Possibly the romance one.

But its fine.I found a copy of her in my bin which I didn't think I had.Her relationship with Darren's gone, but at this point it really don't matter as long as she works.

The recipe ones are fine and there are many here on the forum who use them. A lot of the mods you mentioned I have never heard of but probably because I have no need of what they do so have never looked for them.
Glad you found a bin copy. You can give back her skills, relationships, etc. with MC.

    @Mikezumi
No I don't have a copy of her.
But I notice with my other sims, their hunger goes ups really fast.
Its weird. The bed issue has happened in the past and only effects females.

@GraceyManor I wasn't mistaken in thinking this had happened to you before.

Yes it did, and it was before I had any of these mods installed(Except Nraas and I'm 100% those are good).
I just deleted my folder and copied my save back in without any mods, and she is still doing it.
My back up copy of her though isn't doing it.
  • MikezumiMikezumi Posts: 47,605 Member
@GraceyManor I think we can safely assume that Nraas mods are not a problem :p
If your backup copy isn't doing it then she is probably corrupt somehow.
  • MikezumiMikezumi Posts: 47,605 Member
Have you tried an MC reset on her? An MC reset will rebuild her but I don't know if it will work if a sim is completely corrupt.

I did twice actually thinking that might help, it did for a brief moment then she went back to doing it again.

Edit: It just came back to me, it started shortly after I posed her for a photo.
Wondering if the pose is glitchy.
I never said you did it intentionally but I have seen

Yeah, I would never ever intentionally post a link that is problematic! I would never want
to cause issue on someone's computer.Just the way it was worded came off as I do it a lot and made me sound
like I go around posting bad links.

    @Mikezumi
I remember how I fixed it, unfortunately.
Yes, back then I was all willy nilly with mods, and CC.I didn't have these mods installed, I can't remember what I had to be honest. And I ended up deleting the save. And ended up getting a new laptop anyways.
But my current folder is almost new as I cut back on CC to speed up my game.

But I just uninstalled the last 6 mods I installed, I don't use them anyways, so why keep them? But I can't picture hairstyles causing sleep issues...
  • MikezumiMikezumi Posts: 47,605 Member
I don't see how a pose could cause a problem with sleeping but it's always good practice to do any posing after you have saved and then you should quit without saving after.
  • MikezumiMikezumi Posts: 47,605 Member
I can't see hair being a problem either.

As I said before Mod The Sims is safe but not all their mods are current but there's also something else I just thought of while I was making a cup of tea and that is that not all mods, even from Mod The Sims, will work together.

Yes, I can't see how it could either, nor can I see how hair or clothing would cause an issue with sleeping.
I think I may know who or rather what the culprit is.

It most possibly could be the mental powers. That one edits the sim's energy so they use it for magic powers.
And she had the object in her inventory the other sims did not.I removed this mod and will see.

True.Like you can't use brntwaffles lighting mods with outdoor tweaks.I had to choose between one or the other, unfortunately.Cup of tea sounds good right now...its been a very stressful week with moving and work.

That one definitely sounds suspicious! Good luck!

Thanks! And thanks for all the tips and advice!
    :)

Edit: Yeah, she's not doing it without this mod.
    Fixed for now.. :)
