Phew. School and work has been keeping me busy. I hope everyone's having fun and interesting stories! Heck knows my game's been wild when I get the chance to play it.
Recent gameplay includes me building a reverse pyramid-esque glass house and placing my Spitz family into it. And then a nice sim couple of mine went from having no kids to being pregnant with their eighth.
Also considering cycling back to my vampire save now. See where those family antics take me...

We start this update with the Landgraab family. Other than the Goth's, the Landgraab's are the most well known family in Sunset Valley. Today is Leisure Day so Nancy decided to throw a party for her friends.
Nancy decided to go swimming before the guests arrived to the pool party but it started to rain.
Geoffrey needed to work on his logic skill so he decided to play a game of chess with Malcolm.
Geoffrey: Hmm, you've got me stumped, son
Malcolm: Good, that way you get better. You're going to need it if you want to be chess master, Father.

Nancy decided to start a water balloon fight. The townies from Nancy are Madison VanWatson, Yumi Sekemoto, Gunther Goth, Malcolm Landgraab, Geoffrey Landgraab, Cornelia Goth, and Tamara Donner.
The Landgraab's are pretty good people, although Nancy is a little snotty, her heart is in the right place
Nancy: Unlike Vita.
The Landgraab's are so nice to their community, they even bought pizza for the guests.
Madison: Thanks for the pizza, Nancy! I just love Pizza Cottage's pizza.
Nancy: Eat what you want, there is plenty there.
Geoffrey working on building the alliance between the families
Gunther: You're a great man, Geoffrey. With your help, we will get rid of the Alto's in no time.
Geoffrey: Just treat Holly nice. I know Vita is abusive to her.
Gunther: Holly will be okay. I'll make sure of it, even if I have to take her in.
Now Nancy went to work that Friday, thinking about how the Alto's would ruin this town if Vita became mayor. When she got the call that the voter's wrote her in, Nancy was shocked. Nancy somehow beat Vita by being a write-in. Nancy left Doo Peas and headed straight for the city hall.
***Next time, we see Cornelia's reaction to Nancy winning the election and what Nick thinks of it. I'm currently playing Agnes Crumplebottom now, but I'm not too sure on what to have her do, except for two ideas. Agnes marks the halfway point for the introductions, so I'll try to post through her updates tomorrow before I take a break for a day.
@Brandontaylor yes - 30 Grandchildren are a lot. My sim has 15 children (they were all instant babies). The badge is difficult, next to impossible, to get but apparently cheating is irrelevant. From what I've worked out so far it seems the only strict things to avoid doing include SaveAs mostly. I did one of them already but I haven't started them having grandchildren yet so am hoping that one won't matter. I'm making a game of it and the children are all trying to complete their lifetime wishes and do a few other fun things along the way. Once they age up to Young Adult though I'll get them having babies. Not sure yet exactly how I'm going to manage that but with 15 children they should only need to have an average of 2 each. Once all 30 are born it seems the other trick is to get the grandmother/grandfather to have one more child - by adoption is fine - and then if the badge is going to trigger it should happen then. Also you have to play logged in all the time and I rarely play logged in so I seriously doubt I'll actually get the badge. But I'm having a go and making a vidoe of it just for fun. I've noticed the videos I've already done on it seem to be among the most consistently popular of all my stories.
@coco I wish I knew how I found the genie lamp. It doesn't happen when I'm consciously trying to find one.
I hope the game doesn't corrupt again too. I do have a backup copy of it. Not being able to risk doing SaveAs is a bit of an issue but apparently that prevents the badge from triggering.
I have a few mods in that seem to be keeping it from corrupting. I've not actually had a corruption problem since I started putting the NRAAS mods in and that happened back in 2014. I do have other issues with lag etc but I can usually work out what I've done to cause that and fix it fairly quickly.
I can't do all of the LTW's of everybody but will have a go to do them. I have completed the Perfect Private Aquarium already at least once. I think the secret is not to put anything in a fish bown until after the sim has got all 13 perfect fish in their inventory. It's impossible to keep them all alive in those fishbowls while searching for new fish and extremely difficult to work out if you have 13 different perfect fish or a lesser number of different fish with one or more duplicates to make up the 13 perfect fish. But they seem to stay alive in the inventory and it's easy to count them and it's easier to know if they are actually 13 different types of fish or not if they are in the inventory. I tried to do it a lot of times by putting them in fish bowls as soon as I found each fish but it was next to impossible. Too many dead fish and duplicates when dealing with 13 or more fishbowls.
I think this lot will end up with their own bedrooms like in Perfect Genetics once I get the garden going. And I'll get them sculpting too. Both of those activities are very lucrative. They currently don't have the simoleans to do what I want with them. In Perfect Genetics they have run out of simoleans so they are going to have to work hard to get enough for little Percy to get a bedroom too once he ages up.
@TadOlson thank you. Don't worry I'll get them bedrooms in the end. It's all part of the story. If I was truly desperate I could easily cheat the money but I don't want to do that. They can get there by means of things available to them in the game.
@bekkasan thank you. I have had a few goes at finding a lamp but don't have the patience to keep at it until one is eventually found without my knowledge. He's had that thing in his inventory for a while and I never investigated what it was. If I wasn't looking for things to sell I probably still wouldn't have found it.
I'm just adding extra interest to the story with the lifetime wishes and other things. There are more views for this series than any of the others that I'm doing - except for some of the tutorials and a few of the old episodes of Isla Paradiso Bunch and they've been up for well over a year now. It'll be 2 years on January 1 since I put the first episode of that up.
I just hope I end up getting the badge. It'll be sad if I fail after all this effort and making a video of it too.
Now I'm off to start narrating the video. I've been out most of the day and am hoping the narration and editing won't take too long.

I redid the UV for the battlestation last night (Yes, @MoonandStars83 you were right! It is the Voidcritters Battlestation!)
I had noticed beforehand that there were a few minor problems with the item's appearance and I guessed right that it was due to imperfections in the original UV I made, which I didn't spend nearly as much time making as the new one.
After creating a new UV, the item was more perfect and its lines were OCD straight(Because my OCD really did take over while making the new UV), so I could better see one issue that I remembered from when I first saw the item when I played Sims 4: They had left three weird, fuzzy dots on the top left side of the speakers(What I think are speakers, anyway)! As I used the original multiplier and it copies one speaker to all four, all four had the dots! I reopened the multiplier and edited it, re-exported it-No more dots.
Finally feel it looks good enough to give an up close view:
The amount of floor hygienators I had Sarah make and place in the doorway beside it should be a crime.

@TadOlson thank you. Don't worry I'll get them bedrooms in the end. It's all part of the story. If I was truly desperate I could easily cheat the money but I don't want to do that. They can get there by means of things available to them in the game.
@bekkasan thank you. I have had a few goes at finding a lamp but don't have the patience to keep at it until one is eventually found without my knowledge. He's had that thing in his inventory for a while and I never investigated what it was. If I wasn't looking for things to sell I probably still wouldn't have found it.
I'm just adding extra interest to the story with the lifetime wishes and other things. There are more views for this series than any of the others that I'm doing - except for some of the tutorials and a few of the old episodes of Isla Paradiso Bunch and they've been up for well over a year now. It'll be 2 years on January 1 since I put the first episode of that up.
I just hope I end up getting the badge. It'll be sad if I fail after all this effort and making a video of it too.
Now I'm off to start narrating the video. I've been out most of the day and am hoping the narration and editing won't take too long.

@Brandontaylor I enjoyed the update on the Landgraabs. It sounds as if they are much nicer folks then their name implies. Looks like a fun pool party, bummer it started to rain though. I miss those water balloon fights my sim families used to have (had to take out seasons) Congrats to Nancy on winning the election. Sounds like the people know best what they want.

When I downloaded the tomb lot it said I was missing stuff and would be replaced. Did you use a lot of stuff from Pets or Seasons that will make the lot weird for me? I haven't loaded it into game as I didn't have time last night.

I had noticed beforehand that there were a few minor problems with the item's appearance and I guessed right that it was due to imperfections in the original UV I made, which I didn't spend nearly as much time making as the new one.
After creating a new UV, the item was more perfect and its lines were OCD straight(Because my OCD really did take over while making the new UV), so I could better see one issue that I remembered from when I first saw the item when I played Sims 4: They had left three weird, fuzzy dots on the top left side of the speakers(What I think are speakers, anyway)! As I used the original multiplier and it copies one speaker to all four, all four had the dots! I reopened the multiplier and edited it, re-exported it-No more dots.
Finally feel it looks good enough to give an up close view:
The amount of floor hygienators I had Sarah make and place in the doorway beside it should be a crime.

@bekkasan Thank you, I don't know if Nancy is nice or if she just tries to woo the townfolk. Yeah, the game gave Nancy the choice of changing jobs so I went with it. Vita isn't done yet though, she may do some mean and nasty things.
