Hello all. I've been somewhat absent. We went to my cousin's house yesterday for a big family get together for Boxing Day. Stayed for a few hours.
Yesterday morning though, I managed to loosely put together the video for the next episode of The Isla Paradiso Bunch. This one is all about Craig and his adventures. Will try to get it done today as I don't have much else planned for today yet. It's almost 5:30 am so I have plenty of time to do it or get distracted so we'll just have to see what eventuates.

I saw an ad - Quantum Leap is coming and it looks like it's starting at the beginning of the series - I think it will start in the first week of January. I thought I might try to watch it this time - but I'm really bad at watching TV and don't actually watch much of it. But I'll try - I did watch QL occasionally when it was originally broadcast back when it was being made.
I love how thoughtful my husband is. It's a quality he's had since before I ever knew him and I love it about him.
We're both Star Trek geeks. (He's not a Quantum Leap geek, but he respects that I am and thinks it's cute. )
Anyway,
He's been collecting various Star Trek ship figures for a while (even got a few from me for Christmas ) and during his online search he happened upon a little something for me which I had NO idea about...
When I opened this particular gift yesterday morning and saw the Star Trek logo on the box I was quite intrigued... when I opened it I saw this:

If you don't know what it is: Each ship from Star Trek has a plaque posted on the bridge with the Captain's name and others who took part in building of the ship and jazz. Of course those other names are names of people involved in the production of Star Trek: Enterprise as well as Gene Roddenberry's name at the bottom who was the original creator and mastermind behind it all.
He then told me, "I just thought that whenever they get Scott Bakula to come to Salt Lake Comic Convention you could bring that and have him sign it."
Eeeeeekk!!! I was like, "Heck yeah!!!" Of course I gave him a kiss.
I mean, how COOL would that be!?
Again, I love how sweet and thoughtful he is.
Now I just need to get something Quantum Leap related for him to sign as well.
He WILL be at that Con!! Somehow, some way, I will make it happen!!
@Namaya92 thanks for the compliment on Anipa. I wouldn't have even known about her if not for CravenLeStat. He's the one that saw 'princess Jasmine' when others saw 'nerdy science geek.' @TadOlson, strangely, I do not have any mods in my game, but that might be just for the lack of time in researching them to see what will work for me.

I understand not being into watching TV series much, but Quantum Leap is so fun and heartwarming, it's worth it. It adds sunshine into your life (and teaches you about US history too ).
The Pilot episode starts out sloooooow and it might feel boring because they are introducing the characters and explaining how leaping works and jazz like that. But it's still a great Pilot and from episode 2 on it's all fantastic!
