My inspiration was looking at how some old monuments in Asia are lit up, and they add a modern twist by adding some fountain lightshows at night to attract a lot of tourists.
@pronterus Your Asian-inspired WIP is looking very gorgeous!
I like your architecture, fantastic tower structure and even the roofing. Personally for me, I really need real pagoda roofs and the curving doesn't feel like a pagoda for me, at least it's only my opinion. Anyway, adorable landscaping! I especially like your colored fountains, so adorable!
I'm looking forward to seeing your finished build!
Thanks for sharing in this thread! I'll update my list post.
I wanna share mine! I'm going to share my WIPs in this thread starting today to avoid cluttering up my showcase thread.
My next project will be my second entry for Tutti Frutti Modern Houses set. This one is a townhouse/apartment in three units: apple, orange, and lime. My architecture isn't completed yet, as I need a feedback on it before I'm proceeding to work on it. Thank you!
Your Tutti Frutti units WIP is looking very nice! @Ryecris16 The colours that you are using to represent the fruits look very nice! Very nice roofing! It looks great that you are having three units in the one build. It looks very nice how you have done the front steps entrance for each of them, and the back steps area for each of them looks great! It is nice that you have a back balcony for each of them. The way you have used the hedging looks nice. I will look forward to seeing updates of your build

Thanks! I'm still working on those roofs and finding ways to make them look more curve-y.
@rosemow Thank you so much for your very sweet and lovely feedback! I really appreciate your time to post very lovely comments, you're the best! I really hope my finished product won't be dopey. *hugs*
Your Rainbow Village WIP looks so very great! @superbibi11 The exterior of the buildings look so very nice! Very nice colours of the exteriors of the buildings! They look nice and colourful! The roofing on them looks very nice! The layout of the build is so very nice! Very nice water feature in the middle of the build! It looks nice how you have an island in the middle of the water with the tree and plants on it. The passages of water leading from the middle water feature to each of the buildings looks very nice! The water fountains look very pretty!
The build is so very nice!
@superbibi11 Thank you for your great review on my WIP. *hugs*
Your Rainbow Village WIP is looking very gorgeous and colorful!
I like your use of different color scheme and architectural styles per unit. Some are traditional, some are modern. Amazing roofing work too! Your landscaping is very adorable! I like your water feature and even your use of colored fountain jets.
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. I'm sure this one is going straight to my faves when it's done.
Thank you for stopping-by here and sharing in this thread! I'll update my list post with your WIP.
@SpecterCody Love Love Love your WIP village let me know if you finish it!!! @pronterus@RyeCris@superbibi11 Loving all your WIPs The colors are excellent you all inspire me to bold and use more color on the exterior of my builds!!
Update on my WIP: I changed the color scheme of the pagoda and made the roof hexagonal to give it a better look. I also added a little arch for the entrance. I think I'll be calling this lot Power Pagoda or something.
@leelujack Thank you so much for the compliment! *bro hugs*
@pronteus Your updated WIP is looking very gorgeous!
I like the change on your exterior wall pattern, a perfect Asian feel. Also, awesome roofing work too! It's better to have a hexagonal-styled roofing. Looking forward to it! I'm sure this is going straight to my faves!
I'll update my list post. Thanks again for sharing in this thread!
Your updated version of Power Pagoda looks very nice! @pronterus The change to the red and black colour scheme of the exterior looks very nice! The roofing is very nice! The arch entrance to the lot looks very nice! It suits well the type of home building.
It is looking so very nice!
Awesome Japanese themed home, @SpecterCody! Love it!
You asked for feedback and the only thing I can give you is with the roofing. To me the peaks of the roof are a little too steep and resemble more of a Thai style than Japanese. The Japanese did have peaks of the same design but they didn't rise as sharply...the difference between the two is very slight and it could just be my read.
Update on my WIP:
I'm done with the very right side of my lot, which includes a parkway and a pool area. However, I'm feeling uncomfortable with it and looks very unimpressive. I'm confused.
Need some feedback and suggestions if you think it's alright. Thank you!
The car parkway and pool area looks nice! @RyeCris16 It looks great how you have placed the edging for each of the car parking spots! The shape of the pool looks nice! It looks nice how you have shaped it into the corner and have edging on the sides. The turtle is a nice touch on the base of the pool. The area is looking great!
@gmcrozier WOW the front, the back, everything stunning! @RyeCris16 I like the shape of your pool and the colors however the driveway color and the fencing looks off to me. I liked the hedging you had earlier. I find choosing a fence hard. I think when you add plants it will look great regardless on which one you choose. Maybe replace one side with the gtw metal sculptures or plants to add interest and privacy. I'm not an established builder yet so my ideas may be plum lol.
It is great that you have now finished your Willow Creek Manor home @gmcrozier. It is such a very nice home! The exterior design of the home, the outdoors areas and the interior layout and furnishing is so very grand and very nice! I have posted about your home on your showcase thread.

PS: I haven't did the landscaping yet.
I know you didn't do the landscaping yet but it might be just what you're looking for. Adding details like furniture, plants, trees, landscaping, etc. might really flesh it out. Using it to break up the foundation with some touches of color or a hedge will flush it out. Also, try using the terrain brush to "dirty" up those spots next to fences, driveways, entrances, etc. to give it that more realistic/lived in feel. You got a great foundation there.
If you still feel you need structure/form somewhere, you could always play around with tile patterning the driveway to give it more character...like diamonds, checkers, lines, etc. Maybe a pergola over the driveway? Or square posts with lights?
Honestly, the only thing I'm seeing that is lacking from that area is the details you have yet to put in. I think you will change you're tune once you add in the objects and landscaping.
