Actually it's vice versa to what Zerbu is saying. I've had some of these characters for yeeeears and then made them in the sims. Haven't done much with them recently though due to making them in the Sims 3 for fun.
But to what Zerbu is ACTUALLY saying I have used Sims as a creative outlet in the past. I've become fond of a few characters and even hoped to give them their own stories and backgrounds, though never have in fear of something like this happening.
