I love this song. With time and maturity you learn you can't make everyone happy and this song reflects that in a positive outlook that you can still be happy and the people that matter happy especially during this year. It's from it is from Glass Animal's album, "How to be a Human Being". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRD0-GxqHVo
More about the song,
"“The ‘Heat Waves’ video is a love letter to live music and the culture and togetherness surrounding it. It was filmed at the peak of the lockdown in my neighborhood in East London by the lovely people who live around me, just using their phones. These are people who are usually out at shows, in galleries, going to cinemas, etc. These venues are left empty now, and many of them will not survive. The song is about loss and longing, and ultimately realizing you are unable to save something…and this video is about that but for art, being together and human contact…When everyone was leaning out of their windows filming, I felt that same sense of togetherness and spine-tingling energy that happened at live shows. It made the coldness of performing to an empty room with the band stuck on screens feel even more heart-breaking.”
“Heat Waves” is about losing yourself in a relationship to the point where you’ve crafted a relationship in your mind that’s far better than the one in reality. Things have become blurry, a common effect of heat waves. "

I'm listening to the radio and right now it's Crying At The Discotheque playing which is a pretty awesome song. I'm not sure how to post videos so sorry about that.
@Charla97 Welcome fellow music lover! I posted a step by step instruction on how to post a U-tube music video on pg 328 of the A to Z song thread if you are interested.

Aw thank you for telling me, I am very interested ! Great song the by the way, I love it.
Apologize by Grandson. Because "Your Daily Drive" on Spotify plays only a few of my 800+ Liked songs, over and over, rotating among some few it chooses for who knows what reasons. I like the song, but I've heard it ENOUGH already!

I have a love/hate relationship to SOAD. I like the instrumentals, but there's something about the vocal timbre I just...it just...gets under my skin and not in a good way. Like Bette Midler: lover her to pieces but she shouldn't sing. These guys are good, accomplished, but I just dislike the sound of the lead singer's voice and can't get past it. Not sure how much is the style, and how much just how he sounds but it annoys me like a soul patch.

Do you know their song Chop Suey? I'm assuming you do since that's their biggest song.
There's another band that covered it and I think it's pretty epic. Maybe you'll find the vocals here more tolerable. XD
