I thought I should do one with Australia, since there is one about the United States.
United States thread:

Anyway, as the title says, what do you think of Australia?

This needs to be moved to the off-topic section. XD
Gotta get that shrimp on the barbie.
At least before this thread gets moved. (I sense the UK version will be made soon. Be sure to tag me if it it does...)
Kangaroos will wreck your car if you hit one.
We have some of the best beaches.
Kidding, it is an awesome country full of awesome people. I love it.
Origin ID: Gabby-Abeille
Nothing special.
Never seen a kangaroo outside of a zoo, ever.
Cons - too hot, too many dangerous critters, too much desert, Vegemite, tin can & string internet.
Pros - glorious beaches, filled with dangerous critters. Laid back, good humoured people, wide open spaces.

Vegemite is a pro. It's yummy especially with heaps of butter.
-Vegemite sucks.
-Every animal wants to kill you
-Wayy too hot
-Summer Christmas
-Beaches are the best
-People have a weird accent (including myself)
-Multiculturalism
-School Uniforms
-Awesome food
-Too hot
I'll probably find so many more but honestly I can't think of any right now.
The con is the butter. Eeeew.
Thinly spread vegemite is quite good ^_^ but ONLY thinly spread.
I saw one on a school trip to the country, actually saw about 50 just jumping across the road in front of the bus. Also, when I went to Broken Hill, the bus back ran over two
I've seen a wombat before on a walking trail LOL but that's all I've ever seen in my 18 years of living here. I live in the crappy urban South Western Sydney area.
Really? You must not get out of the city/burbs much, like ever. I used to see wild kangaroos every now and then while driving to work on a major highway in a semi-rural area. If you drive in the country you will more than likely see them, and wombats, and echidnas, snakes, big lizards etc.
@LovelyMelody - My brother teased a kangaroo at Lake Eildon when we were kids, and it eventually had enough, and kicked him in the stomach, knocking him flat, it was hilarious. Horrible kid deserved it
We have wallabies coming onto our property every night. They are a little family There are 2 adults and two little babies, they are SO adorable. Well, except when they eat my younger sons vegetable garden.

But put it on 2 sao's and squeeze it so it looks like worms.
Hot all year round, awesome but also terrifying wildlife and I kind of imagine them being a lot like us English, personality wise though TV depictions aren't all that flattering. Still, I think every country is heavily lost in translation. Especially the way Americans think we English/British live and act.
Bogan accents are the worst! I have a mix between the Australian accent and a Croatian/Wog accent - hehe. But if @EasyToRead finds them hot, each to their own
Not sure if that's a criticism of me or not, but it rubbed me the wrong way for some reason.
I'm a 20 year old student. I've got no reason to leave my home in the suburbs to go to rural Sydney.
When I did live in a rural area for a few months I saw snakes, lizards, cows, horses and some camels. I did see a wombat on a trail that I mentioned earlier, but I've never seen a kangaroo outside of a zoo.
Works better on vita-weats (can you still buy those?)
Vita-weats are the bomb
