Definitely should! I love living here and couldn't imagine moving away. My other half is keen to move to one of the bigger cities or down south but I'm quite content where I am
My g'pa (my dad's step-father) was from Scotland. I remember he had a very thick Scottish accent, and mom barely could understand him. I could as long as nothing interrupted my concentration. I remember as a young child how funny it was how some of the things came out. Things like "mouse" he'd pronounced as "moose"! So I had pet mice (this was when I discovered it)... was when he said "There's a moose (mouse) loose in the hoose (house)!" Being a young child, I thought it was funny. Let the laughs begin.
I'm older and somewhat wiser now. I still remember my g'pa with fond memories and miss him. Everytime hear a Scottish person talking, my memory takes me back to my Scottish g'pa!
lots of people love the Irish accent.. I can never understand what the hell they are saying most of the time and need them to repeat themselves
That is how I am with people from the American South. It's so hard to understand if it is very thick. I don't understand why people like it.
Edit: People always ask where I am from, and for years it irritated me because I did not think that I had an accent, but about a year ago I did that accent meme, and I recorded a video of me saying certain words and phrases alongside answering question aloud and my accent is strangely cute.
Now that I really know that I have it I've noticed it when I speak. I sound kind of in between Received Pronunciation and General Canadian with some French and German sprinkled in and after I started learning Russian and Italian they've sort of crept in as well. It is understandable, though, that some people have a hard time understanding me, with that combined with my tendency to speak quickly and quietly. I think it may have something to do with being a polyglot, but I'm not entirely sure.
I love the Scottish accent it is so beautiful and so is the British and Australian accent another accent that I also find enjoyable to hear is the Indian accent.
A Scottish accent IS a British accent lol
I am from Dorset myself...
@king_of_simcity7 sorry I meant to say the English accent not British
I kind of wish I had more of an Irish accent. I've talked to some people from places like America before and they say that they like my accent, but, I honestly think it isn't Irish enough. :P

So I take it you're from Ireland. What part are you from?

Everyone likes the Scottish lol
Scotland is a great country, love the accent, the towns and cities and their country, only been twice and might go back maybe the year after next?
Nope. I hope that means you live in the general location where they filmed Monarch of the Glen. That's on my list of places to visit someday.
