A Spin-off Game

So I was up late last night playing a bunch of games. RuneScape, Second Life, Minecraft, Block Story and watching a Youtuber play The Long Dark, and I was just focusing on the graphics and gameplay. And I was also sick of how you have to have a membership to own land. I wish there was a survival/creative game, that has a lot of detail, not blocky. We can customize our person exactly the way we want and have free reign over everything, no boundaries, and once we bought the game (online or hardcopy) we have full access to everything and then get bonus content by updates, texture packs, environment editor so we could change the weather at any given moment.

I know The Sims already did it once in Castaway, but I would like a renewed survival game, spun off from the Sims 4. I know the game just started but maybe at some point down the line. We can have a new survival/creative game that:

Has a massive sandbox map, filled with different biomes and places to adventure. Forest, Plains/hills, Beach/Ocean, Jungle, Swamp, Tundra, Mountains, Volcano, Desert, Canyon, Mesa, Caves, City. each having a unique feature in weather and animals natural and mythical.

Controls: UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT arrow keys or WASD to move around; space bar to jump; mouse left click to hit (one click)/punch (repeated clicks)/break (click and hold), move mouse to look around, scroll out to view in third person (camera follows sim(s) around, Scroll out again to get the classic sims view (from above), zoom in for first person (through the eyes of a sim).

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-0 hot bar

"I" - opens inventory

Shift - crouch, Shift + move keys = crawl (army style)

Enter/Return key to switch sims

of course give players to change the control keys to their likings, I just used my own keyboard preferences as an example

Sims will get a health bar, and a magic meter (greyed out for non-magic users), on top of their basic needs and other Vitals like freezing.

Creating a party of sims

Utilizes all of the Sims 4 Create-a-Sim (and upcoming) features including Life Stages and Life States you can create sims you want to see in a survival scenario. Controlling a party of sims will not be an issue. The plumbob hovering over a sim will mark the current sim the player is controlling, if there were two, or more, sims in game they're autonomy (depending on the level the autonomy is set to) will kick in and the other sims will act and behave to their traits and/or pertain to their Needs... choose wisely!

Having extra sims around will increase mobile inventory.

Choosing a different life state will give a sim an awarding bonus in combat, for example a werewolf, will get a Attack boost of 10% because of claws and teeth compared to a human, also health boost of 20%, and take less damage from other hostile mobs.

you can interact with your party of sims as you would in normal Sims with Friendly, Mean, Romantic, Funny, General, conversations. You can Delegate other sims to do chores, such as mine for ores, collect wood, farm, maintain house and Command sims to stay at home by have them do something around the house, then choose selected sim and be off. Sims won't follow after the plumbob has gone over 100+ (insert metric unit in game) away.

The plumbob serves as a guide to computer sims, so sims won't get lost so easily once they finished with a task they will return to the plumbob controlled sim or autonomy may kick in and they'll serve their own needs

Build mode will change once again, this time you will build through the eyes of your sim(s). Time doesn't stop. hold material in your sims hand and place them down.
to build pools basements, the sim will need to dig into the ground. To build a foundation Sim places "real sized" stone/brick on the ground, build the perimeter of the foundation and stack bricks on top to make it higher.

Using a Woodworking Bench, Furnace, and large variety of resources you can build your house, and in time a village, town, city, kingdom.
Building craftables:
• Flooring hardwood, carpet, masonry, tile, (vinyl?)
• Walls are just blank canvases to add texture or paint hold dye or material in hand then left click the wall.
• Roofing (truthfully I don't know)
• Stair casing wood, stone.
• Doors different wood or metals make different types of doors, placing doors side by side will create french doors, stack a door on another door to make larger grander doors.
Windows, smelt sand in a furnace to make glass. glass can be stained with dyes.
Crafting appliances maybe some of you discovered there is no power yet, after the player has established a basic decent life, then decides they're too good for candles torches, they can make a generator. Stacking generators on top of each other and next to will increase power within the building.
refrigerators, ovens/stoves etc can then be made.
Crafting furniture, the crafting bench different from the Wood Working Bench, used for crafting couches, tables, beds chairs, desks, chests and wardrobe. And also hobby items like an easel & palette, so painters can decorate their home; Palettes can be taken from the easel think of it as a the Create-a-Style tool. use it to pot and arrange flowers, make a spindle use it to make clothes and armor. Pottery wheel.

Woodworking Bench- crafts building necessities
Crafting Bench - crafts furniture and appliances.
Spindle - crafts clothes and armor
Furnace - Smelts sands, stones and ores
Stove and Oven bakes and cooks.

Tools and Weapons (all can be made Wood, Stone, Iron, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Gold, Diamond, Obsidian and Platinum bars)
Sword, Bow and Arrows, Pickaxe, Axe, Mace, Trident, Garden Hoe, Shovel, Bucket.

non ore using tools
Brush and pallet
Jug
Cauldron

Farming you can grow all sorts of crops and flowers by finding seeds in the different biomes, and bring them home.

Fruit (can be eaten as soon as picked)
Apples
Banana
Blackberry
Blueberry
Cherries
Coconut
Grapes
Lemon
Pear
Strawberries
Tomatoes
Watermelon

Vegetables (can be eaten as soon as picked)

Traverse your world, meet various (familiar) NPCs and friendly (tamable) mobs along the way. Shape it the way you wish. Make a story, you can share and play out with your friends in multiplayer mode. Invite onto your friends on your server to play the world you or another created, for a fun story.

Accept Quests NPCs and receive rewards.

The look of the world would look naturally like The Sims 4 but similar to Minecraft and RuneScape. Not blocky at all and not a flat world either.
In RuneScape a player could enter caves and mine for ore that was just designed to be available and it will regrow from that same rock it was carved out of a few seconds later. I think it should be like once the world is generated the ore spawners are placed in respectable levels.

What if we could dig dirt, (dirt piles will be formed around the hole can be collected into inventory), then when the sim gets down to stone level, uses a pickaxe to start mine. Sims can uncover ore spawners hidden by dirt and mine them and maybe after a day or a week more ore can regrow in that spot the sim already found. dirt piles can be collected and carried and placed down to bury things and block entrances to caves and change terrain level, after some rain and sun, grass will start grow over it. Sims can mine and make tunnels, and shafts. careful not to mine into lava!

Mobs

Friendly (will be expanded)
Dogs, tamable by giving raw meat or bone
Cats, tamable by giving milk or raw meat preferably chicken or fish
Bunny, tamable by carrot, kill drops lucky rabbit foot, and leather
Horse, Tamable by carrot, can be ridden by saddle (easier said than done), kill drop get leather
Cow, attracted by wheat, kill get leather and raw steak, can be milked.
Pig, attracted by apples, kill get bacon or ham.
Sheep, attracted by wheat, kill get raw mutton and wool, sheer for wool.
chicken, attracted by (any) seeds, kill get raw chicken. While alive may drop an egg.

Neutral (will be expanded)
spiders, vicious at night, kill drops cobwebs.
wolfs, vicious at night, tamable like dogs but more difficult during the day,
Tigers/Jaguars, vicious at night, tamable like cats but difficult.

Hostile
Spiders
Cave Spiders
Wolfs/Coyote
Tigers/Jaguars

Like minecraft if you die, your bed should be your spawner.
For example, SimMason was fighting a wolf and for the sake of argument ran out of magic energy and was at 10% health and then the wolf gave one final blow and died (no blood or gore... maybe a scratch or two but it will fade) my sim will wake up in his bed not feeling so great, with the emotion system he might feel Fine, and then a positive moodlet because he was given another chance. if a sim dies before sleeping in their bed they will be spawned back where they first started the game. A bonus for people who have multiple sims in the game they can switch to their sim back at home and delegate another sim to "fetch (insert the sim that died)" and where they died will be a tombstone, or urn containing all their stuff. simply break the tombstone to retrieve the your previous items. "pick up" the urn, by hovering your mouse over it. Place urn in hot bar and "open it." all belongings and experience will return to your inventory as if it never left.

Death is imminent, Sims die just like before, they can burn in a fire, or falling into lava, drown by lack of air when swimming underwater, fall from high places, suffocate in tight spaces, and being slain death isn't violent in so many cases being slain isn't bloody. for example my Simself and the wolf, perhaps a few scratches on the face or arms and legs but nothing drastic, like if I fell into lava, like the Sims 4 my sim will look burned in the normal sims nothing more. in first person mode the screen would just fade to black or just see light. Sims can get freeze to death and even sick, use herbs to make medicine. death by hunger.

Players can toggle supernatural sims to spawn in game. players can have their own supernatural life states in their party and turning off supernaturals will not affect the sim with extra abilities and rewards. potions, wands, and spell books can still be found throughout the game. even with supernatural disabled.
Questions?
How do sims age?
Sims age by making a birthday cake, sims will not age automatically in cycles. Elders don't die unless attacked.
What happened if the sim I'm not controlling dies?
the go back to where you first started the game, If they haven't slept in their bed. if they have slept in their bed just bring them to their monument and they can get their stuff back.
what can different life Stages do?
Babies—Children are safe from mobs and cannot die, however children can die from basic drowning elements.
Teens+ and older can do everything else.
Young adults and older can give birth. Birth happens where it happens.
What do different life states do?
Human sims can do the basic stuff to survive.
Sorcerers can cast spells like throw a fireball at attackers, ice shards, water whip, throw lightning bolts, air blasts, and throw boulders. they can also heal others in a fight and use their magic to dig. and poof out of a situation that is starting to look grim.
A Werewolf can dig faster than any other life state, they're strong and fast, great to have around for fighting, hunting, and recieveing.
A Fairy can Fly, do basically what a sorcerer can, and FLY.
A Vampire can turn into a bat and scratch pretty good watch Dracula.
... I'm drawing a blank at other life states.

This would be simulation game I would enjoy, how bout everyone else?

I think the Sims Developers can pull this off.

I really want want this because I would love to see my 3 favorite sims adventure and try to survive together.
My simself Mason, a sorcerer, sometimes a loner, a geek, and very creative.
My Sim Girlfriend Aria, Strong powerful human, she's skilled with a Bow and Emerald Tipped Arrows, she is brave, a bookworm and very fashionable. She use to hunt Mason, let's just say they fell in love after she caught Mason in a magical net, nearly killed him five times and He saved her anyway from a evil witch, named Morgana.
and my sim Bro, best friend since Pre-K, Tyler, a werewolf, Smart, Self-assured and a bit of a Glutton. Mason taught Tyler how to control the wolf inside. Been brothers ever since.

I'm not bashing the Sims 4, I want it can't wait to play it, I just think this should be a a game EA should jump at. This Sims survival game onto of the Sims 4

    No more spin-offs!

I don't think it's quite what you had in mind but there's a new MC like game that retains the building system without making the whole world into blocks. It's still in early development though but there's been talk of being able to use your own custom models like I think you cn do with SL (I've only ever read books about that game but this one guide explained how to go about making/sizing clothing)

@FreakAboutSims, not really, You're saying this idea should be with in the game itself, when I think it should be a a whole other game completely. It doesn't look compatible with how the way the base game is. and if it was to be put into the sims 4 they would create another world and limit us to where we can build our houses on lots, hunt and take resources. and I want to be able to play through my sims not just watch and click and point from above.

@SugarRave, Mmmmmm no, I know it's in alfa but I don't like how the Avatars are looking, it looks like a game for children. I rather have my Sim.
Though I do like how the word looks and their building concept. I lost interest when they said "Welcome, Seedlings." and when the avatars started running around in loincloths and leaves. that isn't what I'm looking for.

Sims 2 Castaway was Sims 2's thing, the idea was to be marooned on a forsaken Island and survive. this one is different. It's taking survival games to the next level.
People may say it's just another minecraft clone, but no, technically minecraft is a clone of another game. The Sims Survival (in my taste) better than minecraft, the detail and quality the way I'm picturing it.

    Let me paint a picture

This is how I, and hopefully others who want this game to look.

Literally the Sims 4 Sims and Create a sims features
    s45.png
and then a huge world with all different biomes, and resources probably the only thing I will take from MineCraft related games is creating a nether portal. nothing else will look like the other minecraft games.
Like the Woodworking Bench will be Sims 4 style, the only difference is you would click it and a menu will pop up with a list of all the things you can craft, Weapons and tools. and other necessities to craft items, Like a oven and stove and a refrigerator for food; the spindle to make armor.
    painting easel and palette.
it's technically a whole other game, more than a spin off.
