Super Patcher link not working.

The link for the latest Sims 3 super patch for 1.67 isn't working. It just opens up a new tab in my browser that's titled "Forbidden 403" and is a blank page. Right clicking the link and selecting to "Save link as..." doesn't do anything either. What gives?

Try disabling your adblocker first and then try to download it again.

I had the same problem on Firefox, and I was pretty miffed that it didn't work. After a while of experimenting, it turned out that AdBlock Plus was blocking the link (since it's a direct link to an executable file (*.exe) and some executable files could be tied to a malicious program). I disabled ABP and the download link worked fine after that.

I just checked the link is working for me so it's most likely something on your side try a different browser

I tried that and it still won't work for me. This is infuriating. I've tried on Chrome, Firefox, and even IE. Still all I get is a "403 Forbidden" page.
I've just re-installed the game. The patch won't download through the launcher, so manually downloading it is my only option.

so strange, you could try another computer the manual patch is just a file so save it on a flash drive it is like 1.5 gb in size

Hi,

What you can try out in that case is boot the computer in Safe Mode (with networking enabled) and then download the manual patch while in that state.
