cushions for sofas, beanbags, L shaped sofas, wall art you can change the colour of, garden games like croquet, blenders that you can make milkshakes or cocktails with, fur hide rugs, typographic wall art, murals.. and something that I would really really appreciate - curtains/blinds that are properly dynamic so they fit any window shape.
I'd like to see electrical items like hairdryers, straighteners (they would be cool, our Sims could style their hair!), washing machines/dryers; sports items like tennis rackets, basketball and net, bicycles...
I agree op! I would love 45 degree angle counters!
I'd also love to see "pass-throughs" for walls instead of having to use half walls and trying to make it. Just a passthrough with a counter on it would be so much easier.
I'd like to see vessel sinks.
driftwood sculptures/room dividers
An ottoman that has a throw on it. More candles.
Small tabletop water fountains that give a peaceful vibe when running.
yep, what everyone has said above! corner lounges, smaller coffee tables, we've only got rectangles, there's no round or small square coffee tables, curtains that fit all windows and more, would be great, bean bags, more rugs, very tiny dots, or oddly shaped rugs, like triangular, octagon, etc, chandeliers for tall wall height homes, oddly shaped windows for that weird home I'd love to build one day! lol and the list can go on forever!
I would also love to see the return of the functional Grandfather Clock from The Sims 1 and Sims 2. please SimGurus, I want to see my Sim's clock ticking and repairing the clock!
I agree with mysph1t and fullspiral - 45 degree kitchen counters and a pass through wall separating the eating area from the cooking area would be great. But, are these smarter Sims able to place items on angled counters? Hmmm, we shall see. My Buy Item suggestion is how about beautiful dresses, like the ones Natalie Portman wore when she played Padme in the movie StarWars. I loved those dresses. I miss seeing them from when I played the Sims 2. They were designed by some very creative Sims 2 members.
Toasters. Cheap toasters that burn your toast or barely cook it, and that the toast flies out of sometimes. Expensive toasters for more toast. Novelty toasters that burn a freezer-bunny image onto your toast. Super-fancy toasters like the Queen might own.

Bamboo flooring.
I could go on.....lol
Yes. That's what I mean, so I guess that would be build mode as well.
Dishwasher and trash compacter.
Hmm ... can't think of anything else right now. I'm not a big decorator, but I think all the ideas mentioned here are cool.
Love it @luthienrising
