There's a mod that is supposed to take care of that. I have it installed, but I still run into fading problems. I don't know if the mod isn't working properly or if it's because I use the Sims 3 style camera instead of the Sims 4 one (i.e., not sure if the mod is only for the sims 4 style camera). It's really frustrating when you want to do close-ups, isn't it?
I have found using the mouse wheel to come in closer instead of the wasd keys lets me get a better angle.
I would prefer to not use mods. In The Sims 3 I use nraas mods, but I only started after most of the patches were out. I hate having to update my mods with the patches.
I always use the mouse-wheel and Sims 3 camera. Sometimes you can scroll out just enough so stuff does not fade, but you still get what you wanted, but I would rather not have to do that. I wish they would add it in a patch.
Understood. I always preface mod suggestions with, "If you use them," for that reason. Hmmm, usually I do! I see I didn't in my comment above. (Move along. Nothing to see. Pretend you didn't notice?)
I do wish they would fix this problem. I especially hate it when two sims are sitting next to one another talking and if you move in one of them disappears.
