Employment - Careers - Rabbit Holes and Following them to work..

The idea came in Sims 3 when some Simmers created the work rugs and you had to put one down in the venue to get it to generate it as a work place..
But what I would love to see happen is this..
IF You didn't live in the same world as the work venue, your Sim would go off screen to work just like they do now.. but they would go to a place if you followed them.. Off screen would be like a rabbit hole but to follow them they would go to a Community venue lot ( unless a Sim owns the Lot - as another idea) .
They would go onto to the lot and choose Rabbit hole work or to start doing task that is work related.. And the option to switch those two types of work could very easily be done within the lot.. Much like a Detective in Sims 3 could do police work in the rabbit hole or do surveillance within the same property and it would be doing the task.
So like a Tech guru could go to a lot that has computers on it and much like a computer library.. They would check in on a computer and they could do various tasks within the lot.. But if you have more than 1 Sim on the lot you could always send one into a rabbit hole space that doesn't have to be a huge room, just big enough to look like it belongs to the lot..
If the career was a Chef's career they could go to an open doors restuarant that very much behaves like the Sims 2 lots and people could go to eat there and your Sim would check in at a time clock or podium and get their tasks or stations and participate in the job.. But if you were following someone to eat there and had a Sims working there, the Sim could either go eat in the rabbit hole or your Sims could work in the rabbit hole or both either way..
If the career was an entertainer career, you could add another type of podium or a boss that they check in with and get their tasks.. they could do both bar tending and entertain on the lot.. If you wanted to use the rabbit hole then it could be used as a room that Sims go in and watch a show or work much like the Sims 3 rabbit hole or they could perform live much like the bands in Sims 2 and 3..
The writing career could be either done at the Library or there could be a Business building that housed Writing, Journalist, and the Business career and each floor would focus on the different careers, and each would have a rabbit hole room that could be entered into and worked that way if you were following your Sims..
The Painting career could be done in the Museum.. Allowing them to paint on property.. Having a Desk to report to much like a Gallery would and get their painting assignments.. Again having a room if someone would prefer sending them into a rabbit hole..
The Secret Agent career could be either with in the business building or Police station building much like the business building having a floor dedicated to the type of career that represented that career and or a Municipal building allowing the Town Hall careers and the Law Enforcement careers as well perhaps a Lawyer or Political career.. Depending on the how the game handles the various sorts and other Sims visiting the lots..
The military career could make a comeback with a lot that had the Sims do things like at the gym and other tasks with a bulletin board and a leader to report to..
You could create a Science career and it could either be housed with the School or Medical.. As well as the Astronaut could be housed with the Military or the Law enforcement..
But lastly I made a suggestion in another thread about a dancing career that allowed Sims to go to a Dance studio/gym and they check in and do various task regarding their dancing career and there could be a Sim Celebrity that is assigned to them and they teach to dance and have a dance competition..
Anyways.. last comment for this idea is not all work venues have to be in the same world.. So if say The lounge became the work place for the Entertainer career the place to check in would be added and the rabbit Hole room added to the lot and boom it becomes a place to follow your Sim to work or just check into the rabbit hole if they live across the street and go to the lot disappearing much like the going off the lot..
