    Love everyone's pictures.

@jillbg your fantastic shots really show off the creativity of Nilxis worlds.

I've been trying out various lighting mods and combos so have been taking a lot of scenery pictures. All these are from university since all my games happen to be there at the moment. :)

Thank you. I took a break from Sims 3 for a week or so and when I wasn't taking care of RL I was binging on Civ IV, so I know how it is. :)

@cwaddell Thanks! :) Nilxis truly is fantastic!
Your pics from University are splendid! What lighting mods are you trying out? Hard to pic a favorite, but I especially like this one:

    Thank you.

I am using gelina lighting tweaks which has brighter sunlight, more intense shadows, dDefinder dynamic shadows and less bloom. I have modified it though because it also has slightly larger sun and moon and I think the default sun and moon are unrealistically large to begin with. But from reading the recent thread on lighting mods/tweaks I learned how to use s3pe to change their sizes in the ini file in this package.

I am also using better rainbow, better snow, better clouds and enchanted stars packages from wasset-aseskara.tumblr.com/post/151025253736/enchanted-environment-sky-mod-replaces-sun-sun. I might have used their better sky or the package that combines them all except I wasn't sure if it would conflict with the sun and moon sizes that I set up in gelina's package.

Neither of these sets of packages seems to change the color of the sky or clouds, which I like, although the color of the sky is less saturated because it is brighter sunlight. I would like to get a little more detail in the moon so will be looking into combining one of the moon packages but only if it does not change the size of the moon and sun. Also I would like to have the nights a little darker

Thank you. I took a break from Sims 3 for a week or so and when I wasn't taking care of RL I was binging on Civ IV, so I know how it is. :)

Ahhh another Civ IV fan, love that game! One does not simply take 'one more turn'... dunno about you but one more turn usually ends up another couple of hours gameplay :P
