I'm hoping they mention something about toddlers during Gamescom...fingers crossed. :)

I despise free to play games, but that video is ALMOST enough to make me download FreePlay. Sigh. I wish I could say that I'm shocked that a F2P game is getting what we've been asking for for the past year, but this is EA, and I don't expect much from them anymore. No games seem to hold my attention for more than a few days now. I miss the days when I would get completely sucked in by a new game. My sophomore year of college, I spent an entire study day before finals playing TS2 instead of studying. (Not my best choice, haha.) Now, I can't seem to play any game for more than an hour or two before getting bored. I've started downloading custom worlds for TS3, which helps a little bit with tricking me into thinking that I'm getting something new, but it's just not the same. I really wish that someone else out there decided to create a life simulator so I could go give them my money instead.

I won't lie; I think those FP babies are kinda creepy. I can't explain it but I feel they shouldn't be crawling when they look newborn... I dunno lol

I don't have kids though so maybe it's normal!? I walked at 10months...

Anyway - this does not surprise me in the slightest. In all fairness, I thought FP already had babies and toddlers so luckily I'm probably not taking it as hard as the rest of you. /hugs

I literally do not even know what to say at this point. What more can we possibly do to get a simple answer?

Hey all! My toddler orphanage had to move home... there was a huge amount of stuck-ness and annoyance with the stairs in their last home so I have moved them into my legacy bungalow. Loads of space all on one level, it's a toddlers paradise, they go everywhere! After a hard day of play they went to sleep in seconds:

I am going to recommend a group hug :) To give a side game the things we want on PC is a very unkind thing to do and it shows the lack of regard EA has for it's most loyal fans. The sheer audacity in taking our ideas and using them to make profit elsewhere sticks in the craw.

Despite all of this I still believe that somewhere, sometime there will be another sandbox life simulation game we all want to play. Something for every playstyle. Where you can literally care for your sim from cradle to grave.

Now did I mention a friend of mine who loves Supernatural and set up a fairy orphanage. If you look for HadesDragoness on the Exchange you will find some of the fairy children. They are adorable :)

@JessicaSimston don't think that lovely. We all understand.

Well I now realise why I stopped posting elsewhere on these forums. Toxicity :(

I have some pictures to share of Lola and her silly household, hopefully will give a smile or two! :)

I will start with the twins, Kyle and Zeth. Newly aged up and busting to show off their teeth to each other. I think Zeth (ghost) thinks he has bigger choppers than Kyle but he swiftly shows him how awesome his are as well.

"Mine are bigger than your's..nerrrrrr!!" teases Zeth but Kyle is like.."oh please is that all you got?"
    screenshot_original.jpg

"you think they are big teeth? Look at mine they are nearly as big as dads!"
    screenshot_original.jpg

In between all the teaching and reading and giving so much love to the quads, Lola and the rest barely have time for anything else. But they seem to get in pranks and scaring the life out of each other. lol
    screenshot_original.jpg

"Gotcha for a change Lola!" Chester looked very happy after he did this, Lola is always scaring someone randomly. ;)
    screenshot_original.jpg

She immediately had her pay back in mind, but that would have to wait until Chester is asleep.

Alexa has been very happy lately, her husband is behaving but old habits die hard and found her setting sims on fire at the Club. lol
    screenshot_original.jpg
Poor Vanilla disco didn't know what to do, so he tried to take a picture to which she quickly walked off on. lol She can be so rude!

Zeth loves to float everywhere, to save time you know? He knows the shortcuts and uses them whenever he can. :)
    screenshot_original.jpg

The next morning when everyone was just getting up and when Chester was still asleep, Lola snuck into his room and with one big megaphone bellow she woke up Chester hence her payback to him was even more eye opening.
"Wake up Chester!!Rise and shine! raoaarrrrrr!"
    screenshot_original.jpg

"haha I got you back Chester! Take that wolfman!"
    screenshot_original.jpg
He was up very quickly after that, geez she felt good about herself over it. lol Then went to tend to the quads. :)

More reading for the toddlers! and learning oh and lots of socialising! :)
    screenshot_original.jpg
    screenshot_original.jpg

I got them to take the toddlers to the Early Learning Centre to have some fun and at the end of the day it was time to go home, but nooo Chester had to change right in front of poor little Tina who even looks quite happy was terrified. lol I think she was more focused on the fact she can lift herself up into the air. lol She is really cute.
    screenshot_original.jpg

I let Zeth go for a hunt, and I forgot about him for a bit then heard the music, curfew was broken and Zeth got into trouble!
    screenshot_original.jpg

    Ooops, sorry Zeth my bad!

Love this household, and my first original sim. :)

I feel so selfish complaining about my computer...I'm so sorry guys

No I think our sympathies are with you. Most of us have had a computer fail on us at some point. I am always spilling coffee over my computer desk so much so that I actually keep a tea towel handy. The problem with lemonade is stickiness from the sugar. Hopefully things won't be as bad as you think once the machine has dried out a little.

I am back I have to show you Lola and her sneaky little face when she gives her random scares. Poor Alexa is the target this time but I think she knows whats about to happen.

But first I want to show you Lola in concert giving a few locals some good dance moves and strong notes to keep the crowd happy!
    Love this pose!
    screenshot_original.jpg

She had such a good concert that she really wanted to show how happy she was by scaring her best friend. Her face! haha
    screenshot_original.jpg
    screenshot_original.jpg

Her face shows just how delighted she is, she is so evil! :p
    screenshot_original.jpg

Alexa is like..OMG she got me again! She didn't act so scared this time, perhaps she has ear plugs?
    screenshot_original.jpg
    Lola still enjoyed herself! :D

@christinebremner I am loving the pictures!
and @JessicaSimston I'm so sorry to hear about that. I hope everything is alright. If you have a tech friend or family member I would definitely reach out to them and see if there are parts you can save. and if you are reading things from off line becareful of the source you get it from. I can totally sympathize though. I haven't received my new graphics card yet for my gaming rig so I haven'y the slightest clue if that will fix my BSOD issue or not.
