I'm pretty sure it means yeah. My Sim constantly says "yibbs... Awwww yibbs...." while doing some confident ish pose (doesn't necessarily have to be in confidence mood) I imagine them saying "yeah... Awwww yeahhh..."
Is this conversation really happening? i mean really ? It doesnt mean anything its just jumbled letters
It's actually kind of interesting to me. It may just be gibberish a lot of the time -- I'm really not sure. But in a lot of cases it actually does mean something (like the examples people gave earlier). I know when a chess game's over, for example, when someone says "nektate" (or something similar - the sound on my game's usually a bit low so it's not always clear), which obviously means "checkmate." It's usually comes right after a "nek," or "check."
Some people are just language nerds. I'll admit I'm one of them. We tend to get intrigued by stuff like that.
Also they spoke some words in common languages. For example back in TS2 when a sim needs to use the bathroom but another one was already there that sim says "fuera fuera!" = out out! in spanish. And in TS3 I heard them saying "amigo" = friend.

My Mood:
I agree with Coffee, deciphering is silly. There's no structure behind it other than reusing madeup words in a jumbled mess.
I actually made a reference to the S1 conversation, I'm surprised no one found it familliar.
..Kay, no need for attitude, it's only asked in fun, I'm not seriously researching or anything..
But that said, it does tend to have meaning, they have simlish dictionaries online, I just can't find what "yibs" means.
All I remember from 1 is "frazenray" being uttered when they were mad..
