I am trying to make a house with a porch and cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a covered wrap around porch. It seems like I have looked everywhere for a tutorial but I just cannot find anything. If anyone could tell me, or point me in the right direction for a tutorial, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You may find it helpful for doing the covered wraparound porch.
There is also a Building tips and tutorials thread.

I've already browsed that thread plus links but I did not find what I was looking for. A quick google search turned up nothing as well (that or I just fail at googling, in which case is highly embarrassing). I've also tried youtube.

I've got a room built, and now I'm adding my deck for the porch:
I extend it to the length I want and then go up a level. I place a flat piece and again extend it/resize it to cover the porch area:
I add some edging, replace the fence, create an opening (by deleting a couple of fence segments, add a couple of columns and a front door. This would be a more modern take on it:
For more traditional, instead of adding the flat piece, I place a roof as close to the front edge of the building as I can and then extend it:
I can then pull the back part of the roof up to the edge so that it will interface nicely with the building's main roof. I create a gap in the fence, add a few columns and add some spandrels for decoration:
If you want foundation, the porch should pop right up onto it when you add it, and then you simply have to add stairs and railings:
I hope this helps a bit.
