Permanent Wet Spot - RESOLVED

TrickTrick Posts: 1,538 Member
There's this puddle outside my house, left over from when a plant used to be there. It's lasted through a couple generations now, and multiple game restarts. I can't mop it up, jump in it, or do anything else that might otherwise make it go away.

This screenshot was supposed to show that nothing happens when you hover the mouse over it, but I had the UI capture turned off, so now it's just a picture of my persistent puddle.

Anyone out there got tips on how to get rid of it?

Have you tried using testingcheats to delete object?

Also, I thought this was going to be about something dirty :p

I haven't encountered this problem yet, but just an idea, have you tried enclosing it in a room? Maybe it will enable them to mop them up?

I found some laundry soap and a little oxyclean helps.

@Easytoread I am so stealing that.

Have fun lol. I thought the title was fairly innocent if you ask me.

I realize you said it is resolved but I just wanted to present an alternate solution. Same basic idea as enclosing it in a room but perhaps slightly easier. And yes, it works, tested it myself.

Place a few floor tiles over the puddle. The puddle will rise up over the tiles. Mop the new "floor". Delete/sell the tiles.

I almost suggested that myself actually.
