Hi, I’m also having lag issues in my sims 4 game. And I’m not sure my specs meet the requirements. Could you tell me if my specs meet the requirements if I post them on here? Thx!!

Hello @Lilgamer
If you would like to post your DxDiag info here, simmers will have a look at your computer specs.
To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, do this :
Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
Type dxdiag in the text field
Click OK
Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report
After you have saved your dxdiag info on your computer, go to the pastebin site https://pastebin.com
and copy/paste the dxdiag info into the white box there. Press the button to create the new paste/pastebin text file.
Then post here in this thread the web address of your dxdiag info that is on the pastebin site. You will need to replace the http in the address with h.t.t.p as you are a new member and can’t post links.
If graphics drivers are out of date, it can lagginess and/or graphics issues. Updating the drivers helps both with the running of the computer as well as the running of games.
Hello @Lilgamer
I am so sorry about your computer If you have a computer with higher specifications, it would be best to play the game on that.
If you decide to purchase a new computer either now or into the future, and would like help and advice in getting a computer that can handle the game and packs, it would be good to post on a thread in this Sims 4 Tech section of the forums and simmers will assist you
@Lilgamer
Your welcome. The sims 3 is more powerful because it's a complete game. If you buy a new computer that meets requirements to run the sims 4, it will also run the whole sims 3. Both games have same requirements though the games are programmed differently . When your reaady to buy , just come and ask. Someone in tech can help you find a computer that will run both games
Can somebody help me with my problem? I first got The Sims 4 a year ago and it worked totally fine, some months ago it started being really slow and laggy out on nowhere. I thought the problem was the hard disk space but I used to have GTA on this laptop and other games and it worked smoothly. I don't have mods or stuff like that. I did a reset on my computer but the problem didn't go away. I really don't know what to do, please help me. Here are my computer specs: Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134) (17134.rs4_release.180410-1804) System Model: X555DG BIOS: X555DG.519 (type: UEFI) Processor: AMD A10-8700P Radeon R6, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G (4 CPUs), ~1.8GHz Memory: 8192MB RAM Available OS Memory: 7110MB RAM Page File: 6077MB used, 2824MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 12 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DxDiag Version: 10.00.17134.0001 64bit Unicode

It seems like your computer doesn't even know about your graphics card as it's giving a lot of errors in the dxdiag. Have you tried updating your graphics card?

Hello @Lilgamer
I will ask @chesterbigbird to look at your DXDiag info as she is very helpful with amd processors.
It would also be good for you to go to the HP site, search for your computer model, and update your drivers.

@rosemow this laptop is integrated processor/video card and below requirements.
Try playing in windowed mode and check off laptop mode in game options. Also lower the game settings
