    Quick Start to Careers in TS4

    Hi Simmers! SimGuruGrant wrote up a nice tips & tricks blogs all about careers for your Sims. Are you having trouble getting promoted? Don't know where the panel is? Don't know how to get a job even? It's all in here. My Sim Angel JUST made it to level 10 of her painting career (woo!!) and her brother Jax is a Level 8 Spy.

    Enjoy! Let us know what tips you learn from this that you didn't know before!

      Thanks both Grant for making it and Lyndsay for the notice!

      That was Joxer's charisma level 7 talking.
      The mischief level 10 part will check the guide out right now and will return in a few minutes... >:)

      EDIT:

      Overall it's an awsome guide for new players.
      For those who want to learn more... Three hints are not mentioned:
      - being confident at work rocks more than working hard
      - hacking work performance can fail
      - webmasters perform better than others

      And well, the most important thing is not said - once a sim chooses specialization in a career, there is no turning back!

      On a scale 1-5 the guide deserves 4/5.
      Or as description: Almost perfect!

      Sorry, I had to. I mean, am I evil or not? :)
      But I agree, pickpocketing requirement for example because of cooldowns is a catastrophe. Or friends requirements... etc.

      The thread however is about the guide, not the game itself.

      As we had a few threads recently on C grade children "not able" to progress in school.

      Great guide -- I'd also mention that there are some Aspiration Rewards that are vital for certain jobs and aspirations. For example, if you're a Writer or Painter, go for the Creative Visionary as your first Reward because that will help you later when you have to write bestsellers or paint masterpieces, and in the meantime it will improve the quality of your work so you'll either get slightly higher royalties or your paintings will sell for more.

      It's just you. Try later, probably some DNS issue, it'll resolve by itself in time.
