I know you guys are actually building starter houses so the thread that I created is super lame compared to that, but I did create a thread about renovating already-existing starter houses in the game. Something that even people who can't build very easily can do, so it's a bit more inclusive. No one is really looking at it yet and I'm thinking it's because this thread exists? Although I didn't know that at the time! Anyway. If anyone is interested in throwing a little creativity at making an already-existing starter house into something much more interesting - well, it's fun for me anyway! I don't want to be one of those people who just posts pictures of house after house so I am hoping that other people will get involved. I'm sorry if it's lame, and thank you.
All my daily trances, and all my nightly dreams, are where thy grey eye glances, and where thy footstep gleams.
I dance to the beat of my own drum, no matter how measured or far away.
I do love a road. You can always be wondering what is at the end of it.
Thank you so much @Rouensims I had fun trying to make a fence with debug pieces, you are the 1st to mention it so I am so glad you like it maybe in my thread I should put a couple of screenshots of how I made it, very simple really, I think the wheel part is from Cottage Living and the other is base game I think.
Micro Eco 15K is a lovely modern eco themed starter home! @luckyheather The design and layout are great! Very nice roof covered pool and loungers area and pretty flowers throughout the outdoors areas. The greenhouse is very nice. Very lovely interior furnishing and calm natural colours. The windows are great, bringing in sunshine to enjoy whilst eating at the table or sitting watching tv.
Thank you @rosemow for your comments telling me what you like about my Micro Eco home that I created for the James Turner randomized challenge I had fun trying to do I must admit to using the rooms cheat where they have no floor or ceiling only roof that works perfect for a greenhouse Having only 26 tiles to use was difficult but fun. Thank you for always being so nice commenting on my creations, I appreciate you so much x
Tomorang Starter home is a very lovely tiny living starter home! @luckyheather It looks so peaceful and restful! Very nice exterior design and the wall pattern is very nice. Very beautiful tropical plants and trees. The outdoors dining, gardening and hopscotch areas are very nice. The water fountain is pretty. The interior furnishing is lovely.Very nice warm brown color. The kitchen floor tiling is pretty and lovely patterned curtains in the rooms.
Thanks very much @rosemow for saying how nice the starter looks inside and outside I added the Hopscotch just in case who lives there gets a child visitor that can have some fun while the grownups are talking. I am loving the floor tiles, wall cover and pretty curtains we now have. Thanks again for your kind words.
Thanks very much @GlacierSnow I do try to make a garden attractive especially for a starter, we are lucky to have a huge amount of Debug to play with now
@luckyheather The free items in debug really help a lot to keep starters at a good starter price. I think you were the person I learned about that from, some years ago, and it's been a huge help to me, because I really dislike boring starter lots.
Thats great @GlacierSnow if I helped you and anyone else as we are always learning new things about this game like I watched lilsimsie's recent YouTube Video about the WooHoo spots and some I did not know as im a builder these days, I do usually play a new pack for a bit though.
It is nice to add some bought plants for the local 'Green' areas though plus they give environment score where debug do not.
Industrial Modern Rental is a lovely tiny living rental or starter home! @luckyheather Very nice exterior design and lovely plants, flowers and greenery. The pool and outdoors living patio is great. Very lovely industrial style furnishing of the interior and very nice black and white colours. The living areas flooring is very nice. The landlord’s shed is great.
Thank you @rosemow for the nice comments about my Industrial Modern Rental, I did enjoy creating it as I love Industrial builds in the game and that they can be a smart modern style or rough and worn. I was going to make it dirty and worn but when starting to furnish it changed completely as I did browns then it went black Im glad you like how it turned out, thank you.
Thank you very much @Makova1 I must admit making starters I use debug quite a bit, the garden plants and fencing from debug really helps and some packs like Tiny Living and Eco Lifestyle have so many cheap objects and furniture so I use them a lot. Thanks again for the lovely comment
I created this little asian inspired house. Furnished, it's §28000, but unfurnished it's possible to furnish yourself. I made use of multiple levels and there are two front doors with a back garden. I hope you enjoy it!
Sorry for the lack of images -- the new forum changes stripped away my profile picture and my ability to post images or proper links. It would seem that I need to have another 18 posts before I'm a member, even though I signed up many years ago. I guess it doesn't pay to lurk, haha!
New houses going up all the time!
