History
In 1886, during his tour in Indochina, Baron René Dubray met and fell madly in love with a Vietnamese woman, which he brought back to France. However, since he was already married to a well born French lady, he commissioned a small chateau to be built in nearby Switzerland, in the hills of Windenburg (Geneva), above Lake Leman.
There he spent much time with his mistress, and there she bore him a son, which he named Vincent. But the boy's mother called him Vinh, meaning 'glorious' in the Viêt language. When the Baron passed away, his French family inherited the bulk of his estate, yet in his will, the old Baron adopted Vincent and gave him his name, much to the displeasure of his legitimate children. He also bequeathed him 'La Coquine', along with some money placed in trust.
Vincent Dubray grew to become a banker employed by the Lombard-Odier Group. He married the only daughter of Jacques Odier, one of the directors of the Bank. He sired 3 children with his wife Emma: a son, Arnaud, and two daughters, Gisèle and Amélie. Due to his association with the Odier family, he managed to increase his small inheritance several times over.
Vincent Dubray was the grandfather of Maude Dubray, his last living relative. She herself bore only one daughter named Marie. Marie was impulsive and wild, and she wedded a good looking rascal named Jerome Dufort shortly after meeting him in Monte Carlo. Later, when they both died in a car crash (actually poison, thanks MCCM), Maude raised their 6yo son Fabrice to adulthood. And today, both still live in 'La Coquine'.

The artist studio contains all a painter would want, including snacks, coffee, and a designer's tablet to paint electronically, if desired.
The writer's office/studio features ocean/water blues throughout, as this is their stated favorite color theme. The walls are lined with bookshelves, and the computer is portable so they can also write on the go. The large slider overlooks their private deck and provides an airy, inspiring atmosphere...
The basement includes the separate living space for our fashion designer, who also enjoys fashion photography. This will provide a workspace to photograph models. The walk-in closet, makeup table, and full-length wall mirrors will be extremely helpful for the models during sessions. There is also a quality camera, photography studio, and seating area for models. There is also a nook with the designer's work desk, which includes a designer's tablet and work/wall board for their career needs.
The backyard includes an all-season garden, a porch (covered) and patio (partially covered) with grill/table/plenty of seating; bird feeder/yoga mat/telescope and other items to enjoy.
The open floor plan of the common area, mainly on the first floor, but partially on all three floors includes a bar, living room, dancing/stereo area, a game table, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, exercise room, media room, indoor lap pool, and deck/porch areas.

Thank you so much @rosemow for that great review of my Florists Cottage I am so pleased that you like the stairs and landscaping, I had so much enjoyment making it pretty, my inspiration for the red was because of the tree behind the lot
I don't know what I did but everyone in this house removes their shoes and walk barefoot everywhere. Most annoying.
If you have the Snowy Escape pack then maybe you accidenially set the house rule to remove the shoes or you placed the 'Taming the shoe' sign somewhere.
How to redo this is explained on the Sims Community site 👉 here
Question on builds. I built something I want to share. First, is anyone interested in test playing this? Second, what is the best way to setup for test play without risking your initial build from being corrupted? Third, this build has custom content using mostly Peacemaker's stuff. What is the preferred way to list all of that content. Links to examples would be welcome. Saved to the gallery under Stormgirl_LP called "The Breakers".
If you have the Snowy Escape pack then maybe you accidenially set the house rule to revove the shoes or you placed the 'Taming the shoe' sign somewhere.
Actually it was a piece of CC which had the same properties has that Snowy Escape wall sign. Now everyone keeps their shoes on.
Light Study is a very beautiful study! @luckyheather Very lovely furnishing with items from the new kit.Very nice sitting and reading areas and great layout and design. The arch windows are very nice.
Copper Caravan is a very lovely tiny living Steampunk themed starter! @luckyheather Very creatively great caravan style exterior design, very nice copper brown color, and great wheels! Very nice gardening patch. The outdoors games, fizzy drinks machine and clocks stand area is great!Very lovely interior furnishing. Thank you so much @rosemow for saying such a lovely review about the Copper Caravan I had a lot of fun creating it and I managed to keep it a starter despite all the decorations on the roof! I usually do steampunk more Vintage inside but I fancied a change and that kept the price lower. Thanks again for your enjoyable comments
