Your bathroom looks great! @ObsidianMyst78 The way you have placed the cabinets gives it a great look! It creates great alcove areas. The light you have placed in the toilet section looks great there. It looks great how you have double sinks in the bathroom.
Thanks to the brilliant use of cabinets that other user have shared on this thread I was able to do a really nice bathroom. (I am playing legacy style so I can't build all at once ) I am really loving this thread!
Everyone has such great ideas. I haven't seen any yet that I don't like. @ObsidianMyst78 I didn't even think of putting cabinets over windows until I saw it here.
I did recently do something similar to what you did in the bathroom but didn't take any screenshots.
I got the idea from people here.
I really like this new build mode. It has its limitations, but it seems like the specific looks I am going for are more achievable now without CC than ever before. Sometimes it takes thinking outside of the box, but with a little creativity, you can make it happen.
And I love the way the lighting works. I love that it goes over multiple stories and the shadows that are cast look amazing!
@mstybl95 I never thought of stacking corner cabinets like that! I have stacked them over a fridge (1 small and 1 regular size) to fill in space, but I really like the corner cabinet stack! The sunroof likes amazing too! I agree they have done a great job with new ways to decorate; although I really wished they made cabinets behave like shelves so you could use the top to display things.
Can someone please tell me HOW to get the rounded corner look for an island? And for the wall cabinets .... where and how can I get the dish cabinet? I'm building a new house right now and I'm a little stuck in the kitchen.
Thanks in advance.
p.s. Is there a website (or video) that can give me extra tips?
You just need to turn off auto counters and you can see all the extra options. (Some of them are pretty neat looking.) There's a Youtube video here. I'm sure there are others as well.

@MsPrissy88 , its like @Roane just said, you turn off auto counter and then under the color options you will find the counter and cabinet options. Here's a pic:

The sun roof looks very nice! @Mstybl95 It is a great idea, and the idea of placing windows about the cabinets looks great too! Each of your ideas create nice looks in the rooms.
@sarahewhy - Create rooms on the roof where you want to cut out the tiles. Click on the floor and you should get the option to delete the floor. Then use the sledge hammer on the wall pieces to delete them. Then add roof trim or the cornices to the inside. The light pours in.
But it's not an invisible floor tile or window. I imagine that it is fine to do indoors now, but eventually they will add seasons and then the indoors will get all wet or cold. But I just love the way it looks.
Oh my gosh! You all have some amazing and creative ideas :O Thanks so much for doing this thread. Definitely going to try out some of these tricks. I especially love the use for counters and the cabinets. I can't believe I didn't think of some of these. Really going to need to experiment more ^.^ I love the scale item a lot, comes in handy for plants and other decor.
Your Criminal sims office looks great ! @SelahFreeAtLast It looks great how you have used and placed the counters in the corners there. It looks nice how you have placed the shelves on the corner walls.

Ooooh, THANK YOU for your help! I also saw the video which gave me more ideas. Now I have some ideas floating around in my head as to what I can build. Or, at least what I can *try* to build.

thanks SelahFreeAtLast, yeah it will be a great place to party with the bar, and this house would be perfect if it were overlooking the sea as well.
