    What happened to aarin, why is she banned?

    and whenever i download a patch my game icon disapears? i dont have any mods, or cc..

      She's made an additional entry regarding the matter as well. It's only a temp ban, no need to panic. She'll be back in a day and a half-ish.

      I unfortunately can't help your with your issue though. That's just... weird.

      No, it's back up, just the last few pages are not functioning. The first page with most of the immediately-helpful information is still working. You just can't ask her anything at the moment.

      And fyi, this may or may not get deleted. Most threads on the Aarin situation have been. But you can change the title of your thread if you'd like to address your disappearing icon issue.

      But to keep it on topic: has anybody experienced this?

      OH WAIT..shes banned cause she was linking to MTS. They FINALLY gave her a reason. :roll: She is coming back tomorrow or the next day after that.

      Hasn't happened to me with this game. Need clarity from the OP as to exactly what is happening. Maybe the patch was epic fail and deleted the whole game. Shortcut disappearance?? Make a new one.

      To make a new icon, go to

      C > Program Files > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Game > Bin

      In there, look for the Sims 3 Launcher (APPLICATION)

      Right click, click 'Copy"

      Go to your desktop, right click, and choose "Create Shortcut"

      Try that. I just tested and it worked for me.

      and yea the desktop shortcut keeps deleting but i made a new one. I wonder why the patch deletes it? :S

      I saw nothing in her blog that said she was banned for giving a link to MTS. Vietgirl claimed that in her post. Can anyone show me in her blog where she states the MTS link = banning?

      a lot of people are banned now... dante the dark is permabanned because of his topic where he shows he has a 100 babies... :?

      OT... mmmm, maybe the patch doesn't recognize it in some way?

      "I found out why I was banned today. It was for linking the MTS page that describes how install CC on the first post of the Ask Aarin thread."
