Sim stuck at work

Ehh, it was here or the tech section, but this section does get more attention. =P Also, it's kinda funny.
I have two sims living together, Fifi and Betty. Betty went off to her first day of work, and after many long hours, came home. Supposedly. Even though Betty walked through the door, sat down at the table and ate, chatting casually with Fifi, she was still marked as being at work. I tried to open up her needs, only I couldn't, because she was apparently still hard at work. I can only assume this is how she cheats the company, putting in more hours than she's actually working.
I tried the resetsim cheat, only it said that the sim didn't exist. I also tried to get her to leave work early, but even though I went through the "are you sure you want to leave your boss won't be happy yadda yadda" popup, nothing happened.
Fortunately, I had saved before she went to work, so I haven't lost too much time... but this is still kind of annoying. Anyone else have this problem?
