pets in the sims 3

I liked it in The Sims Unleashed u can have a cat or dog. I think they should bring that back. If they do u should be able to have more than one, more pets, and beable to play as them.

There have been a gazillion threads on this topic now.
And most of the time it's about discussing an expansion pack and what people want in it.
I imagine they will release a pets ep, as it was so popular in demand.
