Teen Sims cant get dressed alone *Fixed*

SO I just went into the dresser to restyle my two teenagers and did all the changes to them both ( from the same screen ! which was fab ) and it wouldnt let me save them . . . . because there was no adult in the household,
as their mum had died a few hours before leaving them orphaned :'(
how am I supposed to change their outfits for a funeral story in my game if I cant save the outfit changes in CAS?
I mean they can live alone, go to school ( right after the mum drops dead in front of them) they can cook, clean, repair, garden, work a job
but they cant get dressed without an adult !! Oh man
Is there a fix or work around ? or is this yet another pia from our otherwise great new game ?

Perhaps you can temporarily download an adult from the Gallery. Imagine it's the old aunt coming to the funeral.

Thats a pretty good suggestion, if its all for story purposes, be creative? Just hopefully they won't end up with an "Edmund Flynn", poor kids.

testingcheats true followed by cas.fulleditmode will take care of the issue,. but I actually like the Aunt coming to the funeral scenario.

Especially if you keep her and she turns out to be some evil relative everybody shunned and now the teens have to plot to kill her off

yea but isn't cas.fulleditmode still bugged and might sever the family tree turning your mom into a roomate or worse your sister....


id say add a random adult to the lot lock them in a room with no door, make your edits and wait for the sim to die

Thanks All - they are managing to live just fine Ive shortened the life span back to normal so in a bout 4 sim days I will have an adult! This is my 1st family and I am trying really really hard not to cheat/use testing cheats etc I've not even done motherlode to check out all the new objects ! I think I may move an adult in make my edits and seal them in mind . . . . . .

Make a tiny 3 story tower in the corner of your house and lock them in it >:D

You just reminded me of the setup in Hidden Springs in 3, I always felt bad for "cinderella" I forgot what her name was, but my sims usually married the Vanderburgs, so tough for her XD
