Write a song?

Ok, I am like level 7 or 8 in my music career and the game wants me to write a song to advance. It says I need to click or a instrament and the option will pop up. But it dosn't. Just write a jungle pops up and that dosn't seem to advance it. Do I need to make my writing skill better or is this a glitch or something else I am missing?

You need to be level 8 with the instrument. So if you're trying to write a guitar song, you need to be level 8. The jingles are linked to the career but the song writing skill is linked to the actual instruments.
