Hello,

As far as I know, you can launch the game without a disc via Origin, but this may only be for digitally downloaded games.

Once the game is in origin, you should be able to launch it without the disc. I think you had to download it even if you had the disc.. which is odd.

Yes even with the disk you have to download it. But once its on Origin you can play without the disk. :)

Thank you for answering that's good news. I actually prefer to play without the disc, that way there's no risk of it getting scratched or even misplaced
