Revamping Premade Sims

Hi! With all the talk about how some people disliked the new look for Nina and Dina Caliente, I was wondering if there was an easy way to remake the Sims in Sims 4? Can you play the household and take them through CAS to change their appearance too, not just their clothing? Or do you have to start from scratch in CAS and evict the premades from their homes?

In TS3 you could use testingcheats to bring sims into CAS. Maybe you'll be able to do that again.

There is a cheat where you can take sims into CAS, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

I'm hoping for something like this. I don't mind tweaking an already made Sim, but I would hate to start from scratch. It would probably look worse than the Sims Maxi made for Sims 4...

That, and if you only wanted to revamp one (say you like Katrina and Dina but not Nina) that one wouldn't have the familial connection if you had to start over.

Yes! This is one of my reasons for simply wanting to tweak their appearance too rather than starting over. I want to keep the family as it is, but I do want to change their appearance somewhat.

You can bring any Sim into CAS, no cheats required.
I don't remember if they showed it happening, but they said it was possible.
You just have to make them the active household first.

I guess you wouldn't be able to change their life stage in this CAS? Just curious. I was thinking of making them be teenagers!

The Full Game will have the Full CAS, ever time you go into CAS

I heard there was a cheat for that. I hope so.

Really? Like, I could click plan outfit on a dresser and be able to change the lifestage? That's... kinda odd...

I really hope you're right... If not, I'll either start from scratch with Katrina and Don Lothario or download a family that someone else made with all four of them and tweak that, unless there is no tweaking necessary!

    testingcheats true
    Shift-click on a Sim
"Modify in CAS" - permits editing everything except name and inherited traits (whatever those are)

(This is from a scan of the official guide that's posted on SimsVIP.)

"Entering “testingcheats true”, then entering “cas.fulleditmode” allows all CAS abilities."
