How to get simpoints from videos?

I saw on some thread that you could get free simpoints from watching some videos and clicking on banners? im not sure what this is?

In the Sims 3 store there is button that will appear randomly, click on it. They are about 10-60 seconds each and you can get 10 points each viewing
