Haha! Isn't it fun clipping the nails of pets? I have to do my two kitties today. Fortunately, these two are much easier than my previous cats, and they're a dream compared to my sister's cats! As long as one person hold her and the other person does her claws, both of them are very docile and cooperative. But if one person tries to do it by herself, neither of them will cooperate at all! They just want the extra attention, I think. Or maybe it's just a matter of principle for them.
Oooh Zorro is high maintenance but I bet you will feel much better without those welts. Uggghh I need to do Minnie's nails and she is not one of those cute wee bunnies that you can just flip over and go for it, she is a big vicious bunny that wont allow anyone to handle her except me and doing her nails requires the speed and agility of a gymnast and a tetanus shot. If you have never been attacked by a mad bunny let me assure you it hurts.
Poor Zorro had some bad experiences in his early years (2 years in multiple pet stores during the formative years is not good for birds), so I try to be understanding. He is a pretty good bird most of the time now, but the first few years were...challenging. Now he just has some occasional nervous quirks like feather chewing and biting and attacking everything that even looks like a towel (or anything holding anything that looks like a towel). I guess he is not a Douglas Adams fan like I am.
As it is, he tried to fly away as soon as the vet in the white coat came into the room and then screamed bloody murder as though he was going to DIE while they carefully and gently filed his nails. He is fine now, happily eating all the extra treats he is being offered for not having drawn blood on anyone.
I can imagine that cats and bunnies are not fun to wrestle when they are unhappy. Zorro, at least, fits in the palm of my hand.

I started a spreadsheet to keep track of the weekly sales so we can figure out if there is a repeating pattern. It will probably be a while before we can see anything (I figure they would have probably 3 months worth or more before they repeat, if that's even the way it is done.) It is in a very simple form right now, so nothing like the complexity of the DD spreadsheet. I will expand on it, though. I am going to clean it up a bit over the weekend and share it early next week for those who want access to it.

According to the dd calculator, Boho vintage womens should be 293 or rounded to 290 points for me and Hewnsman Dining should be 39 or rounded to 35 points for me. I think I should be able to get both now. Getting boho womens should also make the rest of September 2011 compilation free.

@notthecar Unless you just prefer owning the gold version, you might be better off taking a really good offer for the standard version and buying the Learning Center at full price. As the gold version at full price is nearly 300 points more than the world and the venue seperately at full price.

- @Pixieydust - the standard Lucky Palms is 2450 and to get gold it is an extra 1074. But I only paid 532 and got the casino, and the Up the Ante Compilation as a free download so definitely a good deal in that sense. I hoping for Boxing Day, Origin puts the other Worlds on Sale so that I can pick Lucky Palms up then. If not, I'll eventually buy it on MMAO but I'm in no rush, I still haven't played any of my new worlds except Aurora Skies. Yesterdays deal was the best on the list so just be patient and get it when it comes around again. Maybe by then we can all have helped you with your other Vegas sets - somebunny has a birthday coming up...

I'm back, sorta. I got three of my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday, they weren't able to get the fourth because it's roots were complicated and I would bleed a lot and they didn't want to keep me sedated much longer. I'm really glad they sedated me and they were extremely nice, they even gave me a discount of $100 I'm not sure why but I certainly wasn't going to argue about it lol
I'm sore today and still very groggy, so I am spending the day in bed snoozing and occasionally looking here on my iPad.

Ooo, that's not cool! (about the gold version of Aurora Skies). I guess I'm glad I bought the standard version on MMAO a long time ago... I don't know if I'll ever save up enough to get Tiny Prodigies Learning Center, as Prism Art Studio and Skylight Studio for the Performing Arts are more desirable to me...

@bcsmas Thanks for the well wishes about leaky roofs. My husband devised a system of using towels propped against the wall to drip into plastic garbage cans which seems to have saved the carpets this time, somewhat. Douglas Adams would be proud.

It seems like they ought to comp you that removal when you're ready for it, not just give you a $100 discount on the three!

I was planning on saving for gold of aurora skies and lucky palms.....are they not worth being gold? Should I just go for standard? Advice would be great!!
Also I tried to find the least espensive deal for the bakery and I am unable to. Might I get some help please? I am really wanting to get the best deal.
