New to CC...where's the folder to download recolors to?

I can't seem to find any Mods folder in the demo or anywhere to place the CC I downloaded. Can someone help out? Thanks!

Hi! You should have a Mods folder in MyDocuments/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 Create a Sim Demo that already contains a Resource.cfg file. Put the .package files in there, and the game should recognize them.

so we put it in the mods folder and not a package folder like we did with sims3?

Or in a subfolder of the mods folder If you want to go deeper than that though, you'll have to edit resource.cfg.

True, sorry I didn't mention that. :D It should work the same way TS3 did. There are some tutorials on Modthesims (sorry, I can't attach links yet.)

I have changes my resource Config as below and have a package folder in my mods folder with sub folders for recolours ect. You can have 6 sub folders with this and it is so much easier to remove items when you want to. I hope to be able to merge my files eventualy.

I found the Mod folder what do I need to do to use it. When I click on it. It asked if I wanted to use web service or own. before windows can open it
