ENTRY DETAILS: The construction is island-inspired, while the furnishings are more modern. Plenty of windows provide fresh air and views of the surrounding ocean. The second bedroom is currently a basic guest room/storage space, but is easily large enough to be converted into a room for one or two children.

A lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath beach house with all the things one finds at the beach, sun sand a surf. Dog friendly and a wonderful place just to hang out and relax. No CC was used. Move objects, show hidden and testing cheat were used.

As you wander around the Mid-Summer Festival, enjoying the warm sun on your arms and face, you cannot help but overhear a conversation going on between a very young boy and his harassed-looking mother.
"But where will we sleep, mama?" the young boy asks.
"I will try your Aunt Penny again in a little while. Maybe she can help us out a little bit," the woman answers, searching her purse for change. She pulls out a few coins and puts them on the bench between them. Then she starts digging in her purse again for more change.
"Mama," says the boy. "Mama, I am hungry." His little voice is low and quiet and a little shaky.
"I know, baby," she answers, just as quietly. "I am, too. But I don't get paid for a few days yet." She pulls out what looks like a penny and adds it to the small pile of change on the bench.
Hoping they like hot dogs and ice cream, you quickly head over to the concession stand and buy enough food for a small crowd. The man behind the counter helps you carry the food and drinks back to the bench.
"Hello," you say, introducing yourself as the man puts the food down and retreats back to his food stand. "I am wondering if you can help me. We are doing a survey of how tasty our food choices are this year. Will you please try some of this food and give me your opinions?"
"Sure," says the boy, grabbing a freezer bunny creamsicle.
"Uh, okay," the woman says, looking a little dazed at your generosity. But it does not take her long to grab a hot dog and drink. "Thanks very much."
A closer inspection of the two reveals sharp, pointy elbows and chins as well as worn and slightly dirty clothes. It looks as if they may be living on the streets.
"Yum," the boy says enthusiastically. "This ice cream is great!"
"How long have you been in Willow Creek?" you ask, taking a small bite out of a hot dog.
"About a week," the boy says, taking a gulp of drink and snatching up a hot dog.
"The hot dogs are very good," the woman comments, a triffle nervously. "We have just moved here from Sunset Valley. I was able to get a job with the local cleaning service." She hesitates slightly. "Would you know of any cheap places for rent?"
"For rent? Err..." you answer, thinking fast. This small family obviously needs a little help to get on its feet again. "Well, sort of. There is a tiny house community just getting started. I have a few model homes available. Perhaps you could live in one and do some small jobs around the park for part of the lot rent. In time, if you like it, maybe we can work out a way for you to own the home. How does that sound?"
The woman looks almost scared as she asks about the kinds of jobs you want her to do. You laugh gently, and she joins in.
"Nothing illegal or hard, just collecting the rent money from the other lots, picking up any litter, let me know if there is any trouble, that sort of thing," you assure her. "You can keep your job and do these things in your spare time. We only have about ten tiny homes in the park so far."
"Will I have my own room?" the little boy asks, excited and smiling.
"You sure can," you laugh. "Help me carry this food to my car, and I can take you out there right now. Then you can choose which model home you would like to live in!"

@Taoron, anything that would have foundation or is an enclosed room counts in a tiny home. So porches, decks, etc. all count as do rooftops if enclosed by half walls or fences (unless you use the trick where you complete one side by pulling the fence or wall to close it and the enclosed space does not become a room.)
Quick question: Does the landing of a staircase count as a tile? It doesn't add to the tile count when I checked Tiny Home Residential mode when building. If it does get enclosed by something, it's stair railing instead of fencing.

Mom, Stacie, and son, Austin, recently moved from Sunset Valley to Willow Creek and are off to a bit of a rough start. But with a can-do attitude, and maybe a little luck, they'll soon be moving on up.
Stacie is determined to be the best mom she can be despite their desperate financial situation. And she seems to be doing a pretty good job as her son is a well-rounded social butterfly. He is a bit of a glutton but that's only because he's so used to getting such little food to sustain him. So when he's presented with an abundance of food, you bet he's going to eat it all! Luckily, in addition to the rent deal she has agreed to, she's able to put her neatness skills to work by working for a local cleaning company as well. ENTRY DETAILS: I took inspiration from the Bahay Kubo, the Filipino traditional home that can be seen in the countryside. I used a bit of nipa wall covering in the exterior to pay homage to that. Filipinos who lived in these homes usually had small living space, and I tried to incorporate some elements of that into this challenge. Casa Kubo is a more contemporary and upscale version of the Bahay Kubo which could fit right into a classy tropical suburb. It includes a covered porch area, great room with kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a den which can convert into a bedroom at night, thanks to the Murphy bed fixture. The sky roof also adds a bit more openness into this small home. Moreover, the veranda outside also has a compact laundry area. (Total tile count: 84 tiles)
