Lovely build @Unfug013 I really like the theme and colours you've picked - the lots looks beautiful!

@BuildnShare Thanks for the updated links - also I started this challenge under the assumption that we can edit the interior walls a little... I've just seen we can't. I understand I've broken the rules but if I finish what I'm working on am I still allowed to show it at least?

    Thanks :)

So sorry that it wasn't clear from the original challenge description :( Please enter your creation. As long as it is still a 3BR/2BA, it will be considered a valid entry as it was our fault for not making it clear.

Looking forward to seeing your entry!

    Oh. God.

I must have skipped this point! I've torn down all the walls and have finished the entire exterior and landscaping of the house. BAH!!!!!!!

See above! Sorry for the confusion :s

I've started decorating the outside but I'm stumped about room layout insde. The downstairs looks like it is a 3-bed, 2-bath house on it's own which makes the upstairs sort of redundant.

@Emmavane I was actually thinking the same thing this morning.

Sorry @misscbong you have me to blame as I asked about the interior walls and then this clarification was added to the rules :p

@EmmaVane @mommataurus2 I've been having this problem too. I've used them a little specialist rooms like gym, home office etc

Definitely - you can add walls wherever you like.

There are existing rooms that could be used as bedrooms downstairs. Or, you could open those up with arches and/or 1/2 walls and have your bedrooms upstairs. Or a combination of the two. It's entirely up to you. Since there is no budget, you can go wild and include every type of space you think your sims might want/need with the available upstairs and downstairs spaces. Let your imaginations run wild :)

If we replace a wall with a fence/halfwall, and there is a door in it, can we replace the door with a gate/leave a gap where it was? Because a full-size arch or door in a half-wall ('cept the tallest one) just looks silly.

Definitely making progress with this build, which I'm pleased with - but as others say, I'm struggling to fill rooms!

I've got plenty of room ideas now. My main problem is going to be the landscaping. Are we allowed to move the house on the lot?

Im done with the landscaping Now for the interior and its very spacey..Hmmm will maybe consider a semi- open plan..what 2 do what 2 do?

ENTRY DETAILS: My inspiration object was the "Martian Memories Landscape" picture in the decorations category. It's a picture of a beach and so I customised my home around a coastal theme. The lot is primarily made up of blue coastal colours as I thought this best represented the theme. The landscape has also been worked around a beach as the backyard consists of a pier coming off the house and two re purposed beach huts.

ENTRY DETAILS: used the Astro Model Rocket as inspiration for a family home of space travel and science enthusiasts. I tried to go for a modern feel in the interior with lots of space themed art. Used natural materials in places to contrast.
Edit - Just wanted to add that I left out the rocket on purpose as the idea is more about the dream of space travel than the reality. Also it's dark in places I know, I did add lighting but then it made areas just too bright were I wanted a darker feel I could have done better with this tho :/
