It seems every few simweeks one of my sims is interrupted by a trick or treater. . . in the middle of summer. The trick or treaters no longer are sticking to fall, they're year round. Is there any way to fix this?

I have only had trick or treaters one time. And it was winter.

There seems to be a lot of theories but none that is consistently reproducible. Some have said the best way to keep the holidays on track is to make sure you only extend or shorten the season's length by multiples of 7. But that doesn't work for me.

So it's a known glitch.

That must be why, because I have all my seasons on the highest level. But I guess I can deal with a trick or treater every few weeks rather than shorten the seasons. :?
